Mom passed away on January 15, 2000 and we planted a garden with some of the flowers we received from her funeral. Today is National Adopt a Horse Day and I’m sharing a blog I wrote last year today about my friend who rescues horses. This is Charger who is now 21 years old and what a difference from when Janis rescued him in 2017. There are seven weeks between these two photos! A few days before Easter, I went shopping for ham for our dinner. We usually get a spiral cut ham but once I got to the grocery store my thriftiness kicked in! The spiral hams were $1.58 per pound and the regular ham that wasn’t already sliced was 68 cents per pound.
