I have been busy getting the vegetable garden ready to plant. We planted early lettuce and I went lettuce picking for Wordless Wednesday! I love to help Ma and Pop in the garden! The lettuce in the video is a plant from last year and it grow all winter! I love helping in the garden and after I washed the lettuce, I made Pop a fresh from the garden lettuce salad! It’s Friday Story Time by Lia and I’m sharing my recipe for a delicious pineapple banana smoothie with a surprise in it! This is a pineapple banana smoothie Ma and I made a few weeks ago but I added a special ingredient to the one I made a few days ago. First I added seven frozen pineapple chunks, I broke a banana in pieces and put them in the blender. I used the smoothie button and mixed the fruit together until it was smooth. Look at the fruit cookies from Lia’s Sunshine Bakery I made. I even came up with my own recipe! I got everything I needed out of the cupboard then told ma I was ready to make cookies. I got out a bag of dried mixed fruit, a bag of cranberries, the flour, sugar, baking soda and egg. Of course I had to get the sprinkles for my recipe too! Today is the first Wordless Wednesday in March! WOW it’s March already?? I’m sharing a few simple photographs of plants that made it through the winter in our garden. We planted these last growing season and they kept going. I grew the cabbage from the end I cut off of and started growing it in water before planting in the garden.
