Paderno Spiral Vegetable Slicer
Paderno World Cuisine Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Slicer
This is the first time I’ve used a spiralizer and I love my Paderno Tri-Blade Spiral Vegetable Cutter. It’s not only a quick way to cut up your fruits and vegetables but it’s also fun!
It’s very well constructed and with the rubber suction feet it prevents slipping while cutting. The top photo shows the foot before suctioned to the counter as in the center photo. On the last photo, I’m pulling the little tab to release the suction from the counter when finished using the slicer.
I like how it has storage for the two stainless steel blade units that are not being used, they neatly store and click in place under the base of the unit. The two spiral cut blades, one thin and one thick plus the ribbon cut blade are all so easy and fun to make delicious and healthy meals.
My first product I made was curly fries with the thick spiral blade. I cut the end of the potato, pushed it in place on the cutter and proceeded to crack the handle.
I used three potatoes and it made a huge bowl of spirals. Before I layered them on a baking sheet, I cut them in shorter lengths with kitchen shears.
My next attempt was using the ribbon blade and I made delicious potato chips. They were so easy to make and taste delicious. After slicing the potatoes, I deep fried them in oil and drained on paper towel when golden brown.
The potato chips not only look good, they taste delicious. Whether you want to make zuchinni spaghetti, cucumber spirals or apple slices for apple crisp, you can come up with recipes that are not only delicious but also healthy. I love my Paderno Tri-Blade Vegetable Cutter that I recieved in exchange for my honest review.
