Ozeri Hot Air Popcorn Maker
If you like watching movies with a bowl of popcorn, the Ozeri Hot Air Popcorn Maker is perfect for you! I love the red color and how easy it is to pop a fresh bowl of popcorn. But that’s not all, it also saves money since you can buy a bag of popcorn kernels for under $2.00 and it makes lots of popcorn, compared to the microwave packets that are quite costly. So not only is this a great looking popcorn maker, it’s also a money saver since you only need a small amount of kernels to fill a popcorn bucket.
It’s very easy to use, just fill the measuring cup with 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels and dump in the center of the machine. It has a wide opening so no worry about spilling the kernels.
If you like butter on your popcorn, just fill the measuring cup with 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine and set on top of the popcorn maker to melt while the popcorn is popping. I used butter from the fridge, but would recommend having it at room temperature for quicker melting.
DO NOT POUR THE BUTTER IN THE POPCORN MAKER WHILE THE POPCORN IS POPPING!!
After I added the popcorn to the maker and put the butter on top to melt, I placed a popcorn bucket under the chute. It’s a simple on/off switch on the side and it only took a few minutes for the popping to begin and fill my popcorn bucket.
The Ozeri Hot Air Popcorn Maker is easy to clean, just let it cool, removed the cover and turn the popcorn maker over to remove any un-popped kernels from the center chamber. The measuring cup can be washed with warm soapy water but DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
