Over the Horizon
Happy Sunday morning to everyone! Today’s suggested topic is as simple as posting a picture! If you can share this picture on your social media, it may even go viral! But if not I hope you enjoy it yourself. I snapped this picture yesterday afternoon at one of the beach access walkways in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I love the peacefulness of it. I call it Over the Horizon. It also is perfect for my motto I’ve had since starting our interior decorating business over 50 years ago but it fits for so many. “If you want to explore deeper oceans, you first have to leave sight of the shore.”
I hope you all have a wonderful, peaceful Sunday as you look over the horizon.
Up here in NJ, it is still nice enough to head to the shore to see something similar to your picture. However, it is not going to last very long as the cooler temperatures are coming quickly!
Thanks for sharing!
I’m looking forward to a big colder weather Paul. That’s what I miss the most since moving south,m- the fall weather, changing of the leaves and cold weather that brings on the snow. You will be bundling up soon!
So true.Untill I left my home city I didn’t know what was in store .Superb picture Martha.
It’s exciting and sometimes scary Amrita about seeing what’s beyond we can see. But it’s also a challenge that we can hopefully get through!
Beautiful photo Martha. I’m in Florida so we still have vacillating warm and cool weather and I’m grateful for both. I hope you did in fact enjoy your Sunday. I did!
Your weather is similar to ours in South Carolina Fran. Evenings and mornings are so nice a cool but still gets very warm during the day. We had a wonderful Sunday, hope you did too.
Nice summery photo, Martha. No beach weather here. We’re having snow today since noon.
Oh Lily, my hubby would love to have snow again! He misses the change of seasons but we’re getting use to it after 27 years. LOL We do get a few flakes now and then.
What a pretty place.
Thanks Amanda, it’s so peaceful to be at the ocean and look at this view.
