Ocean Before Hurricane
Ocean Before Hurricane
Wordless Wednesday
As the Carolina’s are watching the track of Hurricane Florence for landfall, there is beauty to be seen in the Ocean Before Hurricane hits. Notice the seagull flying across the center cloud, I didn’t even see that when I took the picture. All these pictures were taken with my Google Plus XL phone, no editing done.

Best keep your head down when it arrives – I hear it’s a Cat 4. So glad we don’t get hurricanes in Scotland!
PS: give us a few pics after the hurricane has moved on.
Will do Bill! It has changed track again and looks to stall right at our doorstep! I’ll be sure to get more pictures when Florence is gone for good!
Beautiful, but please be safe my friend. That Storm can cause havic.
Thanks Glenda, this one has everyone worried. She has not changed her path closer to us, we just need to sit and wait another day and see what’s her plan.
Where were these photos taken? We just left Wrightsville Beach and headed home where hopefully the impact of the storm will be less than they’ve been forecasting.
Hope you’ll share your photos at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/09/our-newest-family-member.html
We live in Little River but I took these photos near our store in North Myrtle Beach. This hurricane is very scary with latest changes! Where do you live? Prayers for everyone in the path of Hurricane Florence. Thanks for the link, I shared my blog but know I have to figure out how to add the sharing link on my blog! I’m a bit blog challenged at times. LOL Hoping to get after the storm photos next week!
Beautiful shots!! Stay safe in the days to come!
Thanks Kym, this one is very scary. I’m hoping to get some good shots after Florence passes!
Stay safe XXX
Thanks Meg! This one is scary the way it stalls and turns.
First- stay safe (and LEAVE!)
But, i always enjoy it when there’s a hurricane on the way (but gone when it comes) because there are finally waves in places like Myrtle Beach and Destin.
Thanks Roy! Yes, we don’t get many waves here unless a storm is brewing. We have been through many hurricanes but this one has taken so long to get anywhere! We packed and ready. Glad you enjoyed our waves!
We left Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington early before our vacation really got started. I hope they’ll be intact when we return.
Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/09/our-newest-family-member.html
The eye went in just about Wilmington and there is so much flooding along the coast. The hurricane then turned south at a very slow speed, almost a crawl and the eye came into Little River, SC again. It is now heading west and hopefully will be out of both North and South Carolina very soon. Hope when you come back for a visit, it will be better. Thanks for stopping by.
