No More Pickle!
The other day I wrote about me being in a pickle with all the comments I had to reply to. I always reply to every comment, usually in a very timely manner but every now and then life gets in the way and the comments take longer to reply to. This just happened with over 60 comments and I had to turn it into a challenge to get through them all. I planned to do 10 extra each day plus the new ones that came in to get them all done in a week but I set my mind to them and replied to all of them in two days! So from being in a pickle to no more pickle in two days! I also decided to change my background color to green to honor the pickle! LOL Don’t ask me where I get my crazy ideas from, it just happens!!!
See some times I just need to challenge myself to get something done and it works! I’m happy to say all my comments have been read and I replied to all of them! From 60 to none and in two days I’m done!
Again I want to thank you all for following, viewing, commenting and sharing Lia’s and my blogs! I love the Ultimate Blog Challenge and all the members that work so well together on everyone’s blogs to help make our stats grow!
We have less than two weeks left in the July challenge and now that I’m caught up on my comments, I hope to keep it that way! I will be out of town all next week so that will really test me between both writing and reading blogs. But I’m staying positive and will push through!
I had already planned on this blog before I read the daily suggested blog prompt but it fits since it’s to write about something that shows a mistake and how you worked through it. While this isn’t an actual mistake, letting my comments stack up shows how I had fallen down but by challening myself I pulled myself back up!
National Words With Friends Day
I thought it was interesting to find out that today, July 19th is National Words With Friends Day to commemorate the game “Words With Friends.” I don’t play that game but I’m going to use my own interpretation of National Words With Friends and use it for all my blogging friends that we share so many words with in all our blogs! Also how appropriate that I would find a picture of Lia when she was 2 years old with her First Words puzzle. That’s another reason why I take so many pictures, I never know which ones will work for my blogs! So for now my friends, let’s all continue to BLOG ON with words with friends!!
Whoa, congrats, Martha, for getting out of your pickle so quickly! You’re a rock star!
I actually play “Words With Friends” daily, and I love your interpretation of it. Blogging friends are certainly associated!
Have a god trip, can’t wait to learn where you’re going!
Thanks Tamara, I don’t like being in a pickle but a challenge always makes it easy to get out.
I loved that beautiful yellow flower, and I enjoyed reading your blog. I liked Lia’s facial expression in the picture.
Thanks Dan,the yellow flower is a cucumber blossom. Lia is one with many expressions! LOL
Glad you found your way out of the pickle quickly and cleanly, Martha!! Enjoy your time away!
