I’m sure everyone has heard of Rice Krispy treat bars but have you ever tried no-bake cheerio bars? Lia was helping me make treats for a picnic and we decided to try something health instead of all sugary treats. These are so easy to make and yummy! They only have three ingredients…Cheerios, peanut butter and honey.

Ingredients

3 cups of Cheerios

3/4 cups of peanut butter

1/2 cup honey

Instructions

Line an 8″ square pan with parchment paper

Heat peanut butter and honey in a medium saucepan over medium heat until melted and mixed together

Remove from the burner and add the Cheerios, stirring until all blended with the peanut butter and honey

Pour into lined pan. Use a plastic bag over your hand and flatten the mixture

Refrigerate until cool, about an hour

Store leftovers in refrigerator

Cut into serving sizes and enjoy these for a healthy snack or breakfast bar. If you’re looking for an alternative to sugary snakes these no-bake cheerio bars are an easy and healthy snack to make.

Of course when Lia’s baking is finished she has to make a few deliveries to the neighbors. We didn’t realize it but one of the neighbors has a birthday on Monday so she was super excited to receive one of Lia’s goodie boxes.
