New Found Blogging Friends
New Found Blogging Friends
This is the third year I have participated in the Ultimate Blog Challenge and each year I have reconnected with previous challenge bloggers and met new to the challenge bloggers. Each blogger has their own way of writing, their own niche and that’s what makes it so exciting when participating in the Blog Challenge. The Ultimate Blog Challenge is every January, April, July, and October and while all the blogs are excellent, I like to share five of my new found blogging friends during the challenge months.
I have enjoyed reading the blog from Anne Z. about her adorable Jack Russel terrier, how she has always enjoyed playing drums to being a retired tennis pro. Her blog is as exciting to read as are her pin collections! Stop by and visit Anne’s blog! http://www.annezontheweb.com
Shane H. is a life coach and besides offering his coaching services, I’m sure you will enjoy his blogs. This is one of my favorite of his blogs and I love the frogs! http://www.risingtideslifecoaching.com/ubc-23-the-yoga-of-life/
Kemkem C. has a passion for helping others and she shows it in her blogs. She considers blogging therapeutic and her blogs have something useful to everyone. She wrote a very helpful blog about paying off debt. https://savvyproblogger.com/paying-debt-cheapest-way/
Can you imagine starting a private high school? That’s what Jessica F. did. Now retired as an author, she shares her personal experiences to promote a healthy environment. Be sure to stop by and read her blogs! https://priceelynn.com/
If you love to travel but can’t go everywhere, you will want to visit the blog that Doug J. writes. He has awesome blog tours of far away places, exquisite photography and while reading, it makes you feel like you are right there! I love his blog about the Monastery in Ano Mera. Head on over to his blog and you can travel the world just by reading! https://jarvie.ca/
I have many “old” blogging friends, some I met when I started blogging 3 years ago, some I met when I joined the Ultimate Blog Challenge and some I meet from reading shared blogs from my friends. It’s exciting to meet bloggers and read all the interesting topics they share.
This is my blog from last October where I shared five other super bloggers. I love how each have their own writing style, their interesting niche and some even keep you on the edge of your seat! http://themarthareview.com/share-awesome-blogs/
Thanks for stopping by my blog, grab a cup of tea, cocoa or coffee and enjoy reading about my blogging friends!
A cup of tea as I settle in to read sounds great! And those are awesome bloggers you chose. I have enjoyed discovering their blogs, too.
I love connecting to new bloggers Jeanine! I remember when I first found your blogs! Now we are both on the “old” bloggers! (Not old in age though! LOL)
Love that you’re sharing other blogs you like to read. 🙂
I like to share new blogs! Thanks for stopping by.
Martha – thanks for the shout out- love having you as a new blogging friend. I hope to continue writing long after the challenge is over! I’ll be a regular reader of your blog as well!
You are very welcome Anne, I so enjoy reading your blogs. Yes, once we having blogging friends, they become regular!!
So true about the UBC, Martha.. I have made so many great blogging friends via the UBC, more than anywhere else… and all these blogs you mentioned are ones I am enjoying too…
I too have met more bloggers on the UBC than any other group. The thing I like about these bloggers, they all like a challenge! Thanks for stopping by, keep blogging Vidya!
My favorite part of the blogging challenge is the reconnecting of old blogging friend and meeting new ones. It’s never easy to pick just five.
That’s my favorite part also Brenda! It’s never easy to pick 5, everyone has such interesting blogs!
Thanks for the mention. It’s really been nice “meeting” so many bloggers and discovering new blog to bookmark. I can’t believe you’ve done this for 3 years. It’s been a disciplined month and l hope l can keep it up. I am saving my roundup as the last post on the challenge :-).
I enjoy meeting new bloggers Kemkem and also enjoy challenges. It’s fun to read the variety of topics from everyone. Just think next challenge you will be one of my “old” blogging friends! But don’t let the word “old” scare you, it’s old as in the challenge, not in years! LOL Looking forward to continuing to read your blogs.
thanks so much for the mentions, Martha. this makes me aware that i need a way to track the people i read once the challenge is over. do you know of some place to easily collect them all?
I have been enjoying your “coaching” Shane! As for a way to track, that’s one thing I haven’t perfected yet other than saving names and blog links in Word. I did send your question to Dave from UBC and hopefully he will have a better way! I’ll keep you updated! Thanks for stopping by and keep on coaching!
I am glad you found new blogging friends. I am hoping to get back to blogging soon. I am up early for a change, which is a good thing. I am trying to0 get things set up. That way when I do start blogging every day. I’ll be ready on each platform.
I just liked your new blog FB page Sandy! So glad to see you getting a fresh start and looking forward to reading your blogs once again. April will be right around the corner for the next blog challenge. You can do that, I’m banking on it!
