New Blogger in Town

Many of my friends know my blogger friend Brenda who I met many years through blogging and we both joined the Ultimate Blog Challenge years ago . Brenda is a writer and blogger and shares her stories on her blogs https://www.thespiritualmystic.org/ and https://writerbrendamarie.blogspot.com/ Well we have a new blogger in town, Brenda’s son Mark!

Lia and I surprised Brenda and her son Mark with a red Minky blanket for Bella. When Lia was helping me make the blanket, she asked how to spell “Bella” so I wrote it on a piece of lining fabric and she copied it. Then Lia said, “We need to put Bella’s name on her Minky blanket!” I pulled out some white fabric and with Lia’s help we cut it in the shape of a bone. I was planning on embroidering the name on the bone but Lia wanted to write it. Actually I think her method was the best!

Brenda sent me a few pictures of Bella on her blanket when it arrived and it looked like Bella loved it! Minky fabric is so soft and cuddley and Bella looks like she’s very comfy on her new blanket.

When chatting with Brenda, I found out that Mark told her I remind him of his grandmother who he was very close to. He loves our garden and she told me that I have inspired him to try and make one also. That made me feel so special, someone I didn’t even know was inspired by me. Brenda , Lia and I have so much in common, we even both have Angel collections and Brenda was very close to her grandfather just like Lia is. Brenda was the one that gave Lia her Lil Miss Sunshine, the same name Brenda’s grandfather gave her!

Brenda’s son, Mark surprised her the other day with his first blog! Brenda didn’t ever realize he posted it until she read it! Mark loves photos and nature but his main love is his dog Bella. When they sent me a link to the blog I was just about in tears! Mark wrote a blog about the Minky blanket we made for Bella! Life Through Photos: Bella’s Big Surprise From Lia’s Sunshine Studio I hope Mark continues to blog, he sure does have talent! Take a quick look at Marks blog and leave him a comment on his first blog!

Thank you Mark for the love you shared about Bella and it sure was a big surprise to read your blog. Lia was so excited when I read it to her and she saw Bella looking so happy with her Minky blanket.

Martha, I was just as surprised as you were. I thought it was so sweet of him to write about it. He said, the blanket was too special not to share it. He loved that you and Lia made it together. It reminded him of some of the things he did with my mother.

  5. Martha, what a lovely chapter! It is so clear that Bella loves the new minky blanket! She has just completely adopted it. I did take your suggestion and go over to read and comment on Mark’s blog. I commented, but twice the comments seemed to disappear. Well, maybe he’ll know I tried. Blessings!
