Natural Bamboo Cutting Board Set

 

I have many cutting boards, some plastic, some silicone and some heavy wood. But none compare to the weight and durability of this bamboo cutting board set.  I like using natural products and with the natural bamboo it’s eco-friendly plus it doesn’t damage my knives when cutting food on them .  With the three different sizes, they’re great for just about anything.

 

When I’m cutting up a small piece of fruit, the  6″ square is perfect, it’s also good when slicing a block of cheese.  When I’m preparing food, I always like to use a different cutting board for meats and vegetables, that way I don’t worry about cross contamination of raw meat on the vegetables.

 

I made stir fry and with the 9 3/4″ by 8″ board, I sliced my onion and I used the 11 3/4″ by 9 1/2″ to cut the beef in cubes. The finish of the bamboo is very smooth including the edges of the cutting board plus the handle cutout.

 

With the handle cutout on the two larger cutting boards, it makes it easy to grasp the handle to slide the prepared food into the pan to cook.  I also wash my cooking boards immediately after using them to prevent  bacteria from forming.  This bamboo cutting board set is so easy to clean.  You can either rinse with water or if more cleaning is necessary, I use my eco-friendly dish detergent, rinse and dry plus before I used them for the first time, I washed the cutting boards.

 

The cutting boards are so beautiful, they can also be used to arrange fruit or raw vegetables to serve them right from the cutting board.  Storage is no problem, they can slide in the end of a cupboard on their side, set them on a shelf or even hang to two larger ones with the cutout in the handle.
