NATIONAL HELP A HORSE DAY
NATIONAL HELP A HORSE DAY
National Help a Horse Day is observed annually on April 26th. Equine rescues and sanctuaries across the country hold events celebrating the horse. The events are designed to raise awareness and advocate for abused and neglected horses across the country.
HISTORY
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals founded National Help a Horse Day to bring awareness and promote intervention of abandoned, neglected and abused horses across the country.
What a perfect day to share photos of one of the horses that my friend helped give a second chance. If it wasn’t for Whippoorwill Horse Rescue of Tennessee and my friend Janis, Charger would have had a totally different outcome. The top picture is when Charger arrived in very bad shape, the middle is after lots of TLC from the Horse Rescue and Janis. and the third is when Charger was strong enough be finally be ridden again! Oh happy day for everyone!
It’s hard to believe this is the same horse in these photos. See what love, care and the correct supplement does for horses. http://info.mannapro.com/equine/senior-horse-supplement
