National Chocolate Day Chai Tea
Today is National Chocolate Day and it’s also a bit chilly outside. So I decided to share my recipe for a delicious cup of hot chocolate chai tea to celebrate National Chocolate Day. It’s quick, easy and delicious!

Hot Chocolate Chai Tea Recipe

Ingredients
8 oz. milk
2 oz. flavored coffee creamer (I used Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie flavor)
1 teaspoon of confectioners sugar (to make it fluff up)
1 package of hot cocoa mix
Chai tea concentrate to taste (I just pour it from the carton!)

Add all the ingredients except the chai concentrate and whisk together until everything is blended. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, whisk again and put back in the microwave for 1 minute. Add the chai concentrate and whisk again to mix it all together.

The next step is the most crucial! Top with whipped topping and sprinkle it with cinnamon! Ahhh, so creamy and delicious! But something is missing…..

Since it’s National Chocolate Day I had to add a chocolate covered donut, now my snack is complete! So are you celebrating National Chocolate Day and if so what are you making or having?

This sounds absolutely delicious.I had no idea you could make hot chocolate with Chai!
I add my chai concentrate to so many of my beverages Amrita, both hot and cold.
I had no idea that today is National Chocolate day! As such, I’ll have to have a piece of Halloween candy! But I don’t need any excuse to do that but it somehow feels better. Thanks for the information.
I love your cup by the way.
I usually check on the National Day to see if it is something I can write a blog about Cheryl. Glad you had a bit of chocolate for the day. Thanks for stopping by, I received the cup a long time ago from the city when they had an awards ceremony.
Looks delicious, and the chocolate donut was a great add-on.
I have to have a chocolate donut with my hot chai cocoa Kim!
Those pictures of you are adorable! Did you take advantage of having a few picture-takers around the house? I like both hot chocolate and chai tea but have never thought of mixing them together. Hmm…
I’m always mixing things together Jeanine with my chai, chocolate and even raspberry at times. I like being creative with my teas. As for the picture-taker, I took them on selfie mode after company all left!
