My Valentine Craft Project
I was going to take this week off but when I finished my Valentine craft project, I had to share it on my Friday Story Time by Lia.
If there are any little ones around my age reading this blog, I’m going to show you a fun and easy Valentine craft project. All you need is a grown-up to help you. If you’re making this for you mommy or daddy, ask gramma or even a big brother or sister to help you. It’s so much fun to do craft projects and this is a great one for Valentine’s day, birthday’s or just an I Love you present.
The supplies are easy, all you need is construction paper, some washable paint (finger paint works great) and some glitter. Of course I had my craft shirt on!
My GGmama helped me cut out three hearts out of paper. Next she put some paint in a small bottle. We put the heart shapes on a piece of pink construction paper (pink is one of my favorite colors) and while mama held them in place I dabbed paint all around the edges of them.
After removing the heart cut outs I had three pink hearts outlined in the white paint! The next step was fun, I sprinkled glitter on the paint while still wet. Mama helped with this so we could get it on the paint. I was so excited with my project so far.
But then Mama tricked me! I painted another picture and I wanted to add the glitter myself so she gave me the bottle of glitter to sprinkle on but none came out. Mama closed the top on the bottle but she didn’t realize I would figure it out!
Mama hung the picture on the refrigerator for a few days for the paint to dry then wrote ‘mommy, daddy and Lia’ on the hearts and put my beautiful picture in a frame.
I had so much fun making my Valentine Craft project for mommy and daddy’s Valentine gift!
that is a cute project indeed! I am sure mommy and daddy love Lia’s Valentine gift
Thanks Vidya, it was so easy and could be for any occasion. I love helping Lia with craft projects especially when they are surprises for mommy and daddy. They loved it!
What a cute art project. 🙂
Thanks Amanda, I have so much fun doing projects with Lia!
