My Top Six Smoothie Recipes
Today’s Ultimate Blog Challenge is to come up with a list. It didn’t take me long to come up with my list to share with you. It’s my top six smoothie recipes!! They are not listed in any order of favorites because I love them all!!
For this smoothie, I had a banana that was about over ripe but it made the most delicious smoothie. I broke the banana in pieces, added about 1/4 cup of fresh frozen pineapple, 1/4 cup of orange juice, coconut and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
This might look like my pineapple/banana smoothie in the above picture but it is so different! I added coconut, a few spoons of homemade strawberry/chocolate jam from my FB friend Penny, a splash of raspberry/white chocolate creamer and topped it off with whipped cream and cherries! Because of adding the strawberry/chocolate jam, the smoothie had a deeper color than just using pineapple It was so good and Lia loved it too!
Once again I I had two almost dead bananas, I added some frozen strawberries, raspberries and blackberries with a splash of chocolate/raspberry creamer, coconut, a dash of smoothie powder and crushed ice. Blend all together and top with whipped cream and cherries!
And now for dessert! I started out whipping 8 strawberries in the blender. I was planning on making a smoothie but Lia wanted ice cream. We added a few scoops of vanilla ice cream and 1 scoop of black raspberry with chocolate bits. Whip that together with the berries, blend in a handful of coconut and 1/2 teaspoon of almond flavoring. Of course it needed whipped cream and Lia’s special touch of star sprinkles on top. What an awesome smoothie shake!
The other night our friend brought me a surprise, an Icee cup! Of course I had to try it out with a pineapple smoothie. I added some frozen pineapple chunks, crushed ice, a splash of raspberry creamer, and coconut. I needed whipped topping so after I poured the smooth in my new cup I added some redi-whip and mixed it in the smoothie! It was SO GOOD and Lia thought so too!
Who was waiting for a blueberry smoothie? Well here it is! A handful of frozen blueberries, a glop of strawberry yogurt, crushed ice, a splash of chocolate/raspberry creamer, 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring and of course a handful of coconut. Gotta top with whipped cream and blueberry sprinkles
This is my latest smoothie creation that I just made, I call it my blueberry cream smoothie! I started with a handful of fresh/frozen blueberries and a splash of raspberry/white chocolate creamer. I added about 1/2 cup of crushed ice and blended until smooth. Notice the blueberry colored sprinkles on the whipped topping and I even used a purple straw! This smoothie was thick, almost more like sherbert but it was super delicous!
When I make smoothies, I don’t measure anything, just add whatever amount seems good. I did try to come up with approximate measurements if you want to try one of these. Did you notice anything about all my smoothies? They are all made with fresh or fresh/frozen fruit and no added sugar. I do love coconut so must all of my smoothies have a bit of that in them. Of course Lia says we need to add sprinkles! Do you like smoothies, what is your favorite flavor?
That first smoothie listed sounds and looks delicious! Today’s smoothie for me was green.
I haven’t tried a green smoothie yet Rachel. Maybe I’ll get brave and make one, Lia and I love the blueberry!

Martha, these all sound delicious! And where are you getting raspberriy-chocolate creamer? And where do you get star-shaped sprinkles? I looked for the sprinkles on the Wilton website and no, that wasn’t it. Thanks for great smoothie ideas!
It’s International Delight Coffee Creamer Kebba and it’s so good! Not sure where we got the star-shaped sprinkles, could have been BigLots! I love smoothies and the fruit onse are so refreshing.
Super delicious list and my favorite most likely is the chocolate strawberry one<3
