My New Mixer
I have an exciting Friday Story Time by Lia today. Most of you know that Ma and I recieve products and we write reviews on them. Well the latest product we got was a mixer! Wait until you read about my new mixer!
I love opening packages and when a big box came I wondered what was in it. I was so excited to open it and see a new mixer! This is my unboxing it.
Look how big the mixing bowl is and it even has a handle so it’s easy for me to pour my cake or brownie batter. Ma says the 7.4 cup bowl is big enough to make tons of cookies! The mixer has a mixer beater, a dough hook for when I make bread and a whisk for making fluffy frosting. When I raise or lower the head into the bowl, all I do is flip the little lever towards me.
I can even put the attachments on but I always make sure the mixer is unplugged. When it’s ready to turn the mixer on I carefully turn the knob to the speed I need. It has 6 speeds and a pulse for quick mixing.
There are some loud noises that hurt my ears like our old mixer did so Ma would hold her hands over them when I turned it on. But this one is so quiet it doesn’t bother my ears at all! Of course when I sing loud that doesn’t bother them either! LOL
Of course I had to try the mixer out right away. I made banana bread and added chocolate chips to the batter! I loved using my new mixer and when the bread was done, I took a loaf and a bouquet of our roses to my neighbor who just came home from the hospital.
I love to bake and I wanted to use my new mixer again so the other day I made brownies! I added chocolate chips to the top and when they were baking, the chips melted into the batter. They were so good! Of course I had the fun part of licking the spoon!
On June 21st I am participating in The Longest Day to help raise donations for Alzheimer’s and I’ll be baking lots of delicious cookies, brownies and breads for Lia’s Sunshine Bakery. My new mixer will be great to use especially with the super large mixing bowl! I’ll be sharing more about this later!
I love my new mixer and I told Ma she could even use it if I’m not baking! I hope you enjoyed my Friday Story Time by Lia, I’ll be back next week with another cool story!
What fun!!! I’ve never received any products to review! I would definitely review them gleefully, although I think that Lia is probably more gleeful. This post is delightful, and I’m going to add chocolate chips to my next banana bread. In fact, I just recently made banana bread!!! Yummy.
I hope you tried the chips in your banana bread Alice! Lia even added chocolate chips to the top of brownies! She’s loving her new mixer.
Iām glad you enjoyed your new mixer. š
Lia loves, loves it Amanda! She’s ready to bake every day. LOL
