My Exciting Summer

So today is finally Friday Story Time by Lia! I’ve had such an exciting summer from the July Ultimate Blog Challenge until now.

Here is my time line:

Mommy and I flew to Indiana to visit my uncle in mid July. It was exciting to fly in a airplane again and see the clouds and tiny buildings as I looked out the window. Zac was waiting to pick us up in Indianapolis and drive to his new shop in Lafayette. http://themarthareview.com/visiting-uncle-zac-in-indiana/

The day after we arrived back home, I had my 4K graduation. When I started 4K I wasn’t sure what I would be doing but I had fun meeting my new friends and learning! http://themarthareview.com/my-4k-graduation-day/

Two weeks later I was flower girl in my Aunt Jasmine’s wedding. I’ve never been in a wedding before and I was so excited and a little nervous as the day got closer. But what a super time I had! http://themarthareview.com/wedding-day/

10 days after the wedding I started Kindergarten and two days later I turned FIVE YEARS OLD!! I love Kindergarten and my teacher is the best! I’m leader of my class and I like to help the other kids. If we earn 10 points a week we get to pick a prize from the prize closet. I have a few friends from my 4K class AND I met a new boy in my class who lives in the same sub-division as I do! I got 20 points in a week so was able to pick two prizes. http://themarthareview.com/happy-5th-birthday-to-lia/

I had party after party when I turned five years old! My first birthday adventure was going to the Jurassic Quest Dinosaur exhibit. I love dinosaurs and it was so much fun seeing how huge they were! Then I dug up dinosaur bones and picked through the fossil to find tiny bones.

For my next surprise I went to Build-a-Bear like I’ve done every year and picked out two bears to stuff and dress.

I love crab legs and was so excited when mommy, ma and pop surprised me at an all you can eat buffet with crab legs! I had corn dogs, mac and cheese plus three plates of crab legs! After dinner all the staff from the restaurant came out with a cupcake singing happy birthday to me! Silly mommy put frosting on my nose!

My big party was at the Fun Warehouse with all kinds of jumping, slides, inflatables and so much more. We went roller skating, drove race cars and played laser tag.

I jumped across big inflatable balls to get to the other end and made it all the way! I wasn’t as easy as it looks but it sure was fun to get to the other side without falling off.

My friend Layla’s birthday is in July and we have been to each other’s parties every year since our first birthdays! My mommy and Layla’s mommy have been friends since they were 7 years old!

I was so busy all summer and it went by so quickly. Now I’m enjoying Kindergarten and love helping the other kids and the teacher. Stay tuned for next Friday Story Time by Lia to read about my finale of Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Alzheimer’s Fundraiser.
