My Cinnamon Crescent Rolls with Brown Sugar

Last Friday Lia shared her Cinnamon Crescent Rolls so today it’s my turn to share my cinnamon crescent rolls with brown sugar!

Mine are very similar to Lia’s, I broke open the roll and divided the dough into eight sections but had a small amount extra so I made nine. After spreading butter on each triangle I sprinkled them with the cinnamon and sugar mixture just like Lia did. BUT here’s where mine differ. I have a variety of liquid concentrate including raspberry, cinnamon, brown sugar, boysenberry and chai. I spread a layer of the brown sugar concentrate on the sections then rolled them up, sprinkling lightly with the cinnamon and sugar mix over a layer of butter.

The smelled so good while baking the 9 minutes plus it warmed the house up since it’s been freezing temps in the south!

Hot out of the oven, the brown sugar oozed out and they were so good! I’m thinking maybe I’ll try the raspberry concentrate next and maybe even add some raspberry jam to them. It’s fun to take plan dough and come up with interesting combinations for a totally different taste. What would you add to your crescent rolls before baking?

I didn’t make fancy hot cocoa like Lia did but a cup on hot Chai latte tea always hit the spot for me!
So what do you think about my cinnamon crescent rolls with brown sugar? Have a wonderful week!
These cinnamon crescent rolls look absolutely delicious! The brown sugar concentrate is such a creative twist—perfect for a cozy treat!
I love both cinnamon and brown sugar and the mix was so good Jasmine!
I would definitely go for chai 🤩
So are the two of you going to do a competition?
LOL could be Tamara! We need a little friendly, family competition! I so love my chai concoctions I put together!
They look so fun – and nice full moon treat!
My youngest granddaughter Keira loves to bake, and often makes gluten Ø cinnamon rolls – baking then in a muffin tin. (Either from scratch, or using GF mix)
I love hearing about other young ones interested in baking Nadya! It’s definitely something that will be a plus when they get out on there own.
I think the flavoring I would choose would be pears, apples, or peaches. But first, I need to find a gluten-free recipe so I can enjoy eating my yummy cinnamon crescent rolls!
You gave me an idea Alice, I could add apples and turn it into a mini apple pie!
These sound so good. I need to borrow Lia I want to make Biscuit Pizza for dinner but neither Charlie or David want them they want to make regular Pizza. She can bring Snowball and our Dogs can join us in the Pizza Party and you need to come to. I just wish Rich was here to join us with his famous Meatballs that always looked so good.
Wouldn’t that be great to get together for a pizza dinner Glenda! Yes Rich made the best meatballs and I miss is cooking so much.
Yum!
They are good Amanda!
