My Birthday Week

I’m so excited to share my Friday Story Time by Lia on my new blog category, A Day In Lia’s Shoes! I’m also excited to share my birthday week with you. I didn’t just have a birthday celebration last Monday on my birthday but I had an entire week of birthday celebrations!

My 3rd birthday was Monday August 23rd but my celebrations started last Saturday with a party at my grandma and grandpa’s. I had so much fun making tie dyed tee shirts for mommy and me!

Monday

Monday the 23rd was my birthday and I had another party with mommy, pop and ma! Mommy surprised me and put bags of gifts going upstairs and once I opened them we the bags on one side of the stairs.

Look at my beautiful butterfly earrings I got! I will be wearing them to my birthday party tomorrow!

There was a super surprise at the top of the stairs, I got a big girl’s Paw Patrol bike and helmet! Of course I had to try it out as soon as it was put together and I got it figured out right away! I got so many fun presents, lots of craft projects, new pots and pans for my Princess house and a big girl set of cleaning tools!

Now it was time to go to the doctor for my 3 year old check out. I’m now 35 pounds and 39.5″ tall! Everything checked out great and we were on the way to another surprise.

For my next surprise, we went to DinoLand Cafe to see dinosaurs and have lunch. A lady sitting near us had her birthday the same day as mine and she gave me $10.00! After lunch the waitress brought me out a big piece of chocolate cake and ice cream while everyone sang happy birthday! It was so much fun!

Look at me petting a Saber Tooth tiger, I’m in the mouth of a dinosaur and in one of their eggs too! It was so much fun/

Tuesday

Tuesday I got up and we were going on yet another surprise! We started out at Dinosaur mini golf. Mommy showed me how to hold my golf club and hit the ball into the hole. It was super hot but a fun time. Next stop with to Sugar Kingdom, a store loaded with yummy candy and ice cream!

Wednesday

I have gone to Build-a-Bear every birthday and this year I went again! I decided I wanted a dragon this time and I got a cute little tutu that matches the one I have! Then I got a cute unicorn and llama so they can all be friends!

I had another surprise after I went to Build-a-Bear. There was a carnival in the parking lot and I was so excited! But my excitement ended when I wanted to ride the big wavy slide but I was so short! So then I wanted to ride the roller coaster but the attendant told my mommy she had to be an adult! He thought she was a little kid like me! Finally mommy told him again she was my mommy and he let us ride. This was my first roller coaster ride and I wasn’t scared at all!!

Get this, mommy got stopped again going on the merry-go-round! But ma told them she was a big girl and to let her ride with me. So we rode the merry-go-round and a big swing that went back and forth and way high! I had so much fun!

The next ride I went on all by myself! It was race cars and I went in #3 because I’m 3 years old and because the driver of the #3 car was pop’s favorite driver. The cars started slow and when it whipped around the corners it was so much fun. I was laughing so hard after the first turn! I think Wednesday was the best day of surprises!

Thursday and today we are busy getting ready for my Saturday birthday party and Carlos will be coming! I’m so excited, pop will put out my bouncy house and maybe we’ll go to the pool after the party.

It sure has been fun turning three years old and doing so many fun things for my birthday week! Wait until you see my next A Day in Lia’s Shoes where I’ll be sharing some super surprises from some of my Facebook family!!
