My 4K Graduation Day

Today is Friday Story Time by Lia and I told you last week I had a very exciting blog today. It’s my 4K graduation day blog story!!

Tuesday, July 25th was my 4K graduation day! I had such a fun year at school and graduation day was so exciting! The entire class walked in as a graduation song played and we all went up on stage. These are all my friends that I met this year in 4K.

Songs we Sang

We started the ceremony with the Pledge then we sang a song we have been practicing, Affirmation. We sang another funny song, Shake it Like a Duck by ma couldn’t get a video of that one.

The next song we sang to the audience was the Graduation Song and everyone loved all our singing.

Presentation of Diplomas and Awards

This is Ms. Moe, one of my teachers, I love all of them! Look at my diploma for graduating 4K! I was so excited but a little nervous too when I walked up on stage to receive it.

After everyone received their diplomas, one by one we were called up again to receive special awards. I got Fantastic Friend award because I was so friendly to everyone.

After the ceremony it was time for more photos! I got flowers from mommy, ma and pop. Look at my certificates!

This is my best friend Marley, she got an award for Healthy Habits. Then Marley, Alaya and I are hugging each other and hope we see each other when we get to Kindergarten! I had to give Ms. Moe another hug because I’m going to miss her so much!

Monday night about 10:30PM the plane mommy and I were on coming home from Indiana landed in Myrtle Beach. Ma and pop were waiting to pick us up and by the time we got home it was very late and we had to get up super early to get ready for graduation. I yawned right as ma snapped the picture and she said I had to add this one to my blog to make you laugh!

Graduation Party

After graduation was over, I went home with ma and pop and mommy said she would be over soon. She surprised me with an ice cream cake! So we had delicious cake, lots of flowers and I got some new shirts for school. Look at the shirt I will wear the first day of Kindergarten!

4K Class Activities

When I first started 4K I didn’t know any of the students or what we would be doing but I soon found out! We did all kind of projects, cutting, practicing writing letters and numbers, adding and subtraction and reading. We also had fun activities like when a farmer brought some animals to school and we even had a train come to school! We had pajama day and hat day! I wore my pink cowgirl hat on hat day. Every Thursday we rode the school bus to the public library and we also went on a field trip to the recycling center to learn about recycling. I already knew about that because ma and pop recycle everything!

We even had a tie dye day and two of my friends and I almost match!

Look at this, my class participated in the North Myrtle Beach Christmas parade, we rode on a float and waved to all the people watching.

But the most exciting field trip was when we went to Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. I’ve been there before but it’s always so interesting to learn about the different fish. I saw jelly fish and even petted a stingray! I made so many new friends in 4K and had such an exciting year. Now I’m excited to start Kindergarten in three weeks!

A photographer came to school a few weeks ago and took our graduation pictures, I like them all. I’ll be starting Kindergarten on August 21st and then on August 23rd I’ll be celebrating my 5th birthday! I’m so excited for both. I hope you enjoyed my 4K Graduation Day blog post for my last Friday Story Time by Lia for the July Ultimate Blog Challenge. Thank you all for following my blog stories and I will be sharing more when I start Kindergarten!

  10. Martha and Lia, how beautifully well-planned this group’s curriculum and graduation event are! As I look at Lia and all these sweet faces, I see the professors and doctors and lawyers and store managers of the future, in 20+ years. So awesome! <3

    • Martha says:

The sad thing is, 20 years will go by so fast Kebba. But yes, I see that also, so many bright little ones, we need to keep them their little brains busy learning new things every day!
