This is not your father’s battery jump starter!  First you don’t need another vehicle to jump start a vehicle, instead you just use the small rechargeable battery pack, hook up the cables to the battery and turn the key in the ignition.

It’s small and compact, not much larger than a smart phone and stores easily in the case.  I like how the charger case fits right under the seat so it’s always easy to get to.  There are no bulky cables that get tangled up plus take up lots of room.  This comes with two chargers, one for the home and one for the vehicle so keeping it charged is never a problem.

When hooking up the cables to the battery, it shows error messages for overloads, over voltage and even wrong connections.  If you hook it up incorrectly, an error code will pop up plus the screen flashes.

When I ordered this, I didn’t realize the other cool features this unit has.  I can charge my phone or other devices by attaching a USB cable to the portable battery pack and it even has a digital screen to show how much charge is left before needing to recharge.  A feature I like about this is, it turns off automatically so it won’t run down when not in use.   Plus it functions as an LED flashlight and it is bright. It’s easy to operate, just push and hold the button on the side of the battery pack and a steady light comes on. Click it for a blinking light and another click is for a fast blinking light which is good for emergencies.

When I received this item from 1byOne, it was fully charged and ready to function immediately.  It holds a charge for a long time and charges quickly.  The case has foam cut outs to store the battery pack, the cables and chargers.
