Made it Through the Winter

Today is the first Wordless Wednesday in March! WOW it’s March already?? I’m sharing a few simple photographs of plants that made it through the winter in our garden. We planted these last growing season and they kept going. I grew the cabbage from the end I cut off of and started growing it in water before planting in the garden. Looking forward to having a strawberry or two from Lia’s plant and Rich loves lettuce any time!

Now it’s time to get ready to plan our spring vegetable planting but we already have a start with the ones that made it through the winter!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

I wasn’t sure about the strawberries, but so happy they survived. Lia grew on plant from a seed cup from the Dollar Tree! Thanks for visiting Roy.

I’m so excited for spring time. I think I may be allergic to the cold because I have this weird mysterious rash that popped up in January. My nurse is puzzled by it. All I know is every time it gets colder and snows my rash gets worse. I hope that I can find a nurse that can heal my rash. Until then, I hope that spring time will come and help my rash heal.

Aww sorry about your rash Amanda, I read your blog about it. Hope they come up with a reason, maybe excema? Have you tried soaking in Aveeno or corn starch? Hugs that you feel better soon!
