Long-Tail Keyword
Today’s Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge topic is content that contains a long-tail keyword. A long-tail keyword is a keyword phrase that aims to capture search traffic from a three or more word search query. Long-tail keywords are used more often to target niche demographics instead than mass audiences.
Many of you know Lia steals the show with her smiles whether it be when she writes her Friday Story Time by Lia blogs, posts on Facebook or even visits our neighbors.
When Lia and I post her blogs, I usually add a variety of keywords like #FridayStoryTimebyLia, #LiatheBabyBlogger, #LiaFaith, or #LiasLikingsTheBabyBlogger which is the name of her blog category on #TheMarthaReview. http://themarthareview.com/laugh-out-loud-funny/
The other day my Facebook friend Bianca wrote a comment on a post where I shared Lia styling her hair. She said Lia needs her own hashtag! I thought that was a cool idea! Now Lia has her own long-tail keyword #aDayInLiasShoes and I what a great idea! I’m always sharing what Lia is doing and A Day in Lia’s Shoes is a perfect hashtag for her posts. So next time you see a Lia post, you will see her long-tail keyword also!
Martha, I often forget about hashtags. I need to use them more often.
I’m trying to remember to use them and also some unique ones Brenda!
Lia is a rockstar!!
LOL she sure loves rocking on her projects Kate!
Lia has a way of stealing everyone’s heart. She is so lovely.
Yes she does Lily. She always wears a smile and ready to share it with everyone!
What Lia has is a lot of very cute custom hashtags!! Long tailed keywords for her could be “blog posts written from a child’s POV” or “stories of childhood” or “teaching children to cook” or “doing crafts with children.” Those last ones and other similar ones might be great for this blog.
Oh I like those Jeanine! I never did understand the difference between hashtags and long tail keywords! I’ll have to start using some of them.
That’s pretty cool!
Thanks Roy, Lia is making her mark!
Oh love this post!! And I want Lia Red Riding Hood to visit me..
That was a Christmas sweatshirt she received Vidya and it was perfect for delivering her Christmas goodie baskets. I wish Lia and I could visit you!
Awesome!
Thanks Angie, Lia is making her mark in the blogging world.
