What a tasty granola product that is made from the finest organic ingredients and packaged in a resealable pouch. But the product itself is not the only thing that is unique, it’s the entire Luv Michael company that makes a locally sourced organic granola that gives back.
A little about Michael……
Michael is an 18 year old with Autism, he’s from Port Washington, New York and has a passion for cooking. Because Michael didn’t have a high school diploma, he was unable to enroll in culinary school. His parents, both physicians, helped create this food based business so that Michael and others with autism would be active participants in society and lead happy, productive lives. The granola is hand mixed and packaged by individuals with Autism, giving them an income and career.
From the first bite I took, I loved how much flavor it had. Every ingredient is organic, gluten-free and nut-free. The dried cranberries and raisins, both organic, added delicious flavor and with the maple syrup to hold everything together, it is spectacular. Both my grandson and his wife, who’s mission for them is to promote clean and nutrient packed food, tried Luv Michael’s granola and loved the flavor, the soft but crunchy texture and especially being all organic.
Most of the granola products come in wrappers and unable to be resealed but Luv Michael’s come in 2 ounce pouches with a resealable top. It’s perfect to take with you on the go, have a snack, zip the pouch and keep it fresh.
Luv Michael’s mission is to provide meaningful vocational training for the autistic population and to produce exceptional gluten-free and natural products. Luv Michael educates, trains and employs individuals with autism. Every bag of Luv Michael Originola Granola is hand mixed in small batches and packed with LUV by individuals with autism.
On October 27, 2015, granola was prepared for Luv Michael.
Currently, Luv Michael’s granola is found in New York Fresh & Co., Cafe Metro and Wild by Nature stores. It is also available in some Starbucks and local stores in Southampton, New York and Delaware. It is the hopes that Luv Michael will expand to all 50 states. The company is committed to creating and providing culinary jobs to those with Autism. Luv Michael’s is a registered 501c3 Non-Profit company and the profits aid in the growth of their business and allow them to develop new training modules for their employees. Be sure to check out LuvMichaeland try some of their delicious granola snacks. You aren’t just purchasing a delicious product, you are helping those with Autism lead productive lives.

What an INCREDIBLE movement!!! And the pouch is a GENIUS idea!! Not only will it keep it moist, and you would be able to eat a little and save for later. But also these bags can be recycled for other purposes around the house. FANTASTIC!
I love seeing the pride on the faces of those making the product Tammie. Such a great idea and would love to see more like this. I never thought about recycling the bags for storing things, great idea! Thanks for stopping by!
The product sounds amazing. Both how it’s made and the company mission. We need more people like this in this world.

That sounds like an amazing company. I am glad the parents believed in their sons dream enough to help jump start his dream and passion.
