Lia’s Twelve Day Countdown – Day 4
Lia’s twelve day countdown – day 4 has seen so many changes in her growth! She doesn’t want to just lay around, Lia is ready to stand with help and sits up by herself! It’s so much fun looking back through the months until her one year birthday in 8 days!
At only four months old, an older boy already had his eyes on Lia! Lia was invited to Carlos’ first birthday party!
Lia’s mommy and I had a Christmas craft day making hand prints and Alex created some beautiful ornaments for gifts. I love handmade gifts, they are true gifts from the heart and Lia’s gramma Thelma loved hers.
We had a crowning in December! Our neighbor crocheted the cutest little pink crown so Princess Lia is royalty now! On a visit to Jean’s house, Princess Lia got to meet her cute puppy.
December was full of celebrations and parties! Lia went to her first Christmas tree light and met a real Santa Claus! I love the picture of mommy holding Lia, she looks like a little doll!
Lia met a very special lady when she was four months old. Sheri is a retired labor and delivery nurse so when Alex was in labor, Sheri and I were constantly texting about her progress. I wrote a prayer for Alex and after almost 18 hours, Sheri and I prayed together even though we were miles apart. Within minutes Lia Faith arrived.
Going to the North Myrtle Beach Light Show was awesome! Lia loved watching all the colored lights and she even met Santa again!
Even though there were lots of parties, Lia still inspected the Minky blankets. I love this picture and how it looks like she is checking it out.
It’s getting close to Christmas and Lia is patiently waiting for her 1st Christmas. But finally she gave up and decide to take a little nap!
The family Christmas card was taken at the beginning of the month when Lia was over three months old. She is so alert but so tiny!
What a wonderful day we all had on Christmas Day! The picture I took of GGpapa with Lia reminds me of her first dance, her little dimple and all! Gramma Thelma and Lia are having a serious talk about something and Lia is concentrating fully!
This little sweetheart brings smiles and sunshine to everyone she meets and while her first few months there didn’t seem to be major changes, her fourth month she became so inquisitive and didn’t want to miss anything. It’s hard not to smile when we see Lia smile. This is the link to Day 3 in the countdown. http://themarthareview.com/lias-twelve-day-countdown-day-3/
Those four month old photos are doozies.
She is growing quickly Roy, sometimes too quickly!

Thanks Vidya, I’m having fun putting Lia’s memoirs together! I’d like to try to figure out how to print all 12 blogs into a little book so when Lia gets older, she can have a few laughs.
Another cute post. 🙂
This is the month where Lia started to do so much more Amanda. She has always been such a happy baby.
