Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Fundraiser Bake Sale

It’s Friday Story Time by Lia again and I have been so busy these last few weeks planning and preparing for Lia’s Sunshine Bakery Fundraiser bake sale!

After everything was baked and cooled, Ma and I put them in baggies. Pop and Ma helped me decorate the table and I put all the cookies, brownies and muffins out.

This past Monday was the day I had my bake sale and it was great! Carlos and his mommy came over and he helped me at the table. Two cute faces at the table can’t hurt!

My neighbor friends stopped over and everyone was so excited to see all the goodies I baked. They all went home with cookies, muffins and once again my brownies won the best of the sale!

Some people couldn’t make it to my bake sale but they “pre-ordered” with a donation and I packaged up some cookies and muffins for them. Ma even made “Lia’s Sunshine Bakery” stickers for the containers, complete with the sun!

After my fundraiser bake sale was over, it was time to count the donations. I was so excited to have another $155.00 to go towards my previous donations. Now the total donations I received was $745.00 as of last Monday!

I was so happy with the results of my Alzheimer’s fundraiser bake sale! I think I’m one of the youngest fundraisers to have a team and Ma said she is so proud of me!

I joined the Alzheimer’s Fundraiser in honor and memory of my great great grandmother and also my sweet neighbor Ruthie that I’ve known since I was little!

If you missed my last few blogs, this is me shopping for ingredients for the bake sale. http://themarthareview.com/lias-sunshine-bakery-fundraiser-for-alzheimers/

It was so much fun when I started my baking! http://themarthareview.com/let-the-baking-begin/

Even though this bake sale is over, I still have a few other surprises for my fundraiser coming up! I want to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s! If you scan the QR CODE you can follow my progress. I’ll see you next week for another exciting Friday Story Time by Lia!!
