Lia’s Many Talents
Eleven months ago today on August 23, 2018 our 5th great grand baby was born. From the very beginning Lia Faith has been inquisitive about everything, happy, smiling and never afraid to try anything new. These are some of Lia’s many talents she has accomplished in 11 months.
Many of my readers know that Lia wears many hats so I thought it would be fun to go back through her “early” days and share them on her 11th month birthday.
Lia started her first profession when she was 5 days old! It started with a Minky blanket I made for her baby shower. Shortly after, I created Mama’s Minkys and Lia became our quality control inspector checking each Minky before it went to another sweet baby. https://www.facebook.com/MamasMinkys/
Lia has loved working in our garden since we were preparing to plant the vegetables. She picked out some plants, got her feet in the dirt and was excited when she started harvesting her vegetables. Lia is quite the little gardener.
Just look at Lia examining her Cabbage Patch Kid! I won this doll in a give-away and when I saw how much attention she gave to the details of the doll, I knew she would be the greatest product reviewer! Lia’s Likings The Baby Blogger was created when she was 6 months old and so far she has reviewed a variety of products! This is Lia’s first blog she wrote: http://themarthareview.com/first-cabbage-patch-kid/
When it comes to sharing chores, Lia is quick to lend a hand. She loves dusting and just look how she steps back to check to make sure she’s got it all dusted! Yes Lia is a great little house cleaner.
I think Lia might become a musician! A few weeks ago, she decided to pull our a set of drums (well actually a set of pans) and try her hand at drumming. I love the ending of her concert when she “throws her drum stick” to the audience with her little smile.
But she’s not limiting her musical talents to the drums, Lia is also giving the Ukulele a try with GGpapa.
We didn’t forget that Lia loves sports! She watches basketball on TV and learned how to make the shots. She’s even her own cheerleader at the end of the video! LOL Someday you may see Lia on a women’s basketball team!
Who doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies? Even Lia knows a good recipe when she sees one! When Lia’s mommy was about her age, Alex and I would bake together and now Lia is following in her footsteps making memories while baking. Yes, I think Lia is an excellent cookie baker!
Just when I thought Lia might have enough ideas for her to decide on what career she might undertake when she gets a bit older, she came up with another one! Lia loves to make people smile and the other day while waiting for her plane to board, she walked around greeting the passengers in the check-in line. She put smiles on everyone’s face whom she greeted and even stopped to chat with one who was waiting for her plane and started inspecting the lady’s carry-on! So Lia has a good start at either an airport greeter or baggage inspector!
Lia is a young lady who wears many hats and even loves to inspect the grass and dirt in the yard. The first 11 months of Lia Faith’s story has been exciting for sure. She’s worked as a Minky inspector, gardener, product reviewer and blogger, house cleaner, musician, chef and airport greeter. Lia always carries a smile with her to hand to anyone she passes and I have a feeling she won’t stop at anything! We like to make Lia be a part of everything just like we did with her mom when she was growing up. While she may not even remember any of her early “talents”, I feel it strengthens her curiosity and connection plus in the long run will help her learn. Happy 11th month Birthday Lia Faith, one more month until you will be a year old!!

I would expect Lia’s bank account to be growing, too! All those jobs you are giving her should be accruing some wonderful paychecks!
Lia is being very well compensated for all her jobs Roy! She should be well off when she grows up 🙂

Lia is just adorable! What an amazing little one… 🙂 The photos made my cheeks hurt. (I’m smiling so much!) What a talented little girl. Thank you for sharing your little Lia!
The best quality (and she has many) that Lia has is her ability to make everyone smile Lori. She is such a happy and loving little one. Now she even knows when someone is smiling at her, she will look right up at them and smile back. Definitely a little ham when she see the camera!
A great grandbaby– how absolutely wonderful!! I don’t see a lot of hats in the picture, but the way she has taking to the guitar, maybe rock stars don’t need them. Wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing them with us,
Actually she doesn’t like to keep a hat on Douglas. We never know, maybe she will start her own band and be famous one day!
She’s too precious! She’s so bright, and I love that she’a A little musician! Such a fun thing to share with her when she’s older.
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
