Lia’s Answers to Got a Question
Yesterday I shared my answers to readers who left questions on my recent blog that were for me. Readers also asked questions for Lia to answer and today our blog shares Lia’s answers to Got a Question For Us.
Hi again, it’s Lia here and I’m sharing a blog on a day that’s not Friday! But last week I had some readers ask me questions so I’m going to share the questions and my answers with everyone! Hope you enjoy them!
Angie – https://musesofamom.blogspot.com/ Lia — what is your most favorite thing to bake? WOW that’s a hard question since I LOVE to make so many different things. I even make ice cream! I love to make banana bread and I even made Zucchini bread from the zucchini from my garden! I have two recipes for my zucchini bread and one time I used butterfly molds to make my bread in! This was the Lemon Zucchini bread recipe and it’s delicious! I also love to make cookies and chocolate chip is my favorite cookie! Thanks for asking me a question Angie!
Kate – https://beccakatzprintables.com/ I enjoyed this post. Does Lia like unicorns? I LOVE UNICORNS!! My 3rd birthday party had a Unicorn theme and I even had a Unicorn pinata! I even have a Unicorn hanging lamp in my Princess playroom! Look at my Unicorn I got for Easter and I even have a Unicorn Adventure book with my name throughout and my picture at the end of the book!
Kebba – https://kebbabutton.wordpress.com/ Lia, I have 2 questions: 1) what is your very favorite food and 2) what is your very favorite dessert? I would like the recipes, too, if possible. Thanks! <3 Great questions Kebba! I have three favorite foods! They are mac ‘n cheese, shrimp and crab! How’s that for a dinner? As for my favorite dessert, that would have to be chocolate or chocolate chip cookies. For my recipes, Ma and I make chocolate avocado cookies and they taste so good! For my chocolate chip cookies, we use the recipe on the Nestles Toll House chocolate chip bag. Hope you try one of my cookie recipes Kebba!
Julie – http://creativelifemidwife.com/ has a list of questions for both of us! 1. What does Lia want to be when she grows up?
2. What is Martha’s favorite quiet activity?
3. What are Lia and Martha’s favorite foods?
4. Martha – what family traditions have you introduced Lia to? Are there any you would like to share soon that you haven’t yet? Well I haven’t thought about what I want to be when I grow up but I do know I want to bring smiles and happiness to others. I have a good start on that already! I asked Ma what her favorite quiet activity was and she laughed. It’s never quiet around here and we are always busy doing something. But she did say she loves blogging late at night or very early in the morning before we get the day going. Ma’s favorite food is salmon! She has a few delicious recipes and one of her marinades is raspberry! This blog has a variety of the delicious sauces she makes for her salmon. http://themarthareview.com/wild-salmon-season/ My favorite foods are mac ‘n cheese, shrimp and crab! As for family traditions ma makes many of the same meals that her grandmother did and she will pass down the recipes to me when I get older. She has also introduced sewing, baking and cooking just like she did with her grandmother. I love sharing everything I do with Ma and many of them are the same things she did with my mommy when she was my age! Thank you for all these great questions Julie!
Vidya – ladyinreadwrites.com Q for Martha – how do you do it all? !!! You know that has been my q for you always..
Can I ask Rich a Q too – what is the secret that makes your roses grow?
Q for Lia -what is your fav thing to make in the kitchen, Princess Lia? Hi Vidya, I’m jumping in here to answer your first question. First, I can’t sit still, always have to be doing something. I get that from my mom and grandmother. Both were hard workers and never a dull moment in their lives. It seems like since Rich and I “semi-retired” back in 2018, we are busier now than before! But we love it and enjoy every minute we spend doing fun things with Lia! As for the question you had for Rich, he says his secret is just talking to the roses. Every morning he goes outside and picks the wilted roses off, talks to them and they grow back even more beautiful! Okay Vidya, I’m back for my question now! I have so many favorite things I like to make. I enjoy making meals with Ma and when the vegetables from the garden are ready to pick, I enjoy helping to up the eggplant and squash to freeze for meals later on. I also love to help pop make spaghetti and meatballs! There are so many delicious cookies and cakes and I can’t forget the banana bread!
I had so much fun having Ma read me the questions that everyone left and I hope you enjoy reading Lia’s answers to got a question! Thanks for stopping by and see you for my Friday Story Time by Lia!
Good questions- great answers! Thanks for sharing the data to help us get to know the two of you better.
Thanks Roy, it was a fun post.
Wow! I am not sure which post I liked better – Martha’s questions or Lia’s questions! Hate to say it… I think Lia wins. After all, Mac & Cheese, shrimp and crab have to be THE BEST dinner ever!
LOL I’ll let Lia know she is the winner Paul! But we already knew she was a winner the first time we saw her! Lia does have a good appetite!
I think you have fabulous taste Lia – you like all the yummy food PLUS unicorns 🙂
That Chocolate Avocado Cookies recipe sounds delicious. For a while, in an attempt to lose weight, I used to make Avocado Brownies, using only “healthy ingredients”, but to be honest they didn’t compare to regular brownies. I may have to give your recipe a try.
You will excel at anything you do professionally, because – guess what: bringing smiles and happiness to others can (and should) apply to any job!
Lia says thank you Tamara! I have to agree, she can bring on the world with your smiles and happiness.
You guys sure stay busy!
Funny answers to some of those questions—kids are always unpredictable! She looks like she very much enjoys life.
Beautiful pictures, especially of that gorgeous rose!

I wanted to have Lia video some of her replies but she wasn’t up for that. Thanks for stopping by Laurie.
I remember the zucchini bread Lia baked.I missed asking a question in the question post.We all fell ill in November and blogging was challenging. But trying is what we can do.I am sharing my question for both of you.
For Martha :What inspires you to write ?
For Lia :Would you like to write a story with pictures ?
Sorry to hear you were all ill Amrita! It has been a challenging few months for me trying to keep up! As for what inspires me is live in general! I take everything that happens and turn it into a learning experience or story. Now Lia is doing the same! As for a picture story, Lia has done a few for Wordless Wednesday, more of a time lapse series. We’ll work on a picture book story!
Oh my gosh, those pictures of Lia were WONDERFUL! And her answers were so adorable. Tell her I love mac and cheese, too, and so does my son. And I also like unicorns. How neat that Rich talks to the roses!
Thanks for visiting Lia’s answer blog Jeanine! I love the homemade mac ‘n cheese my grandmother made when I was young. That’s a good go to meal!
Lia has some great answers! And Martha is an amazing 👏 woman. My woman 👩 ❤
We are quite the team Rich!
This really brighten up my day. Thank you both.
This was such a fun blog topic Amanda!
