Lettuce Picking for Wordless Wednesday

I have been busy getting the vegetable garden ready to plant. We planted early lettuce and I went lettuce picking for Wordless Wednesday! I love to help Ma and Pop in the garden!

The lettuce in the video is a plant from last year and it grow all winter! I love helping in the garden and after I washed the lettuce, I made Pop a fresh from the garden lettuce salad! I hope you enjoyed Lia’s Lettuce Picking for Wordless Wednesday! I’ll be back for my Friday Story Time by Lia!

  1. Save some lettuce for me!!! They look fantastic.

  2. Those pictures are adorable!! I’m so glad to hear that she loves gardening, and at such a young age. And speaking of her age, I am surprised every time I see her lately, how much she has grown.

Lia runs outside as soon as she wakes up if Pop is in the backyard Jeanine! Yes, she is growing, she’s 41″ tall…. mommy is 60″! LOL

This post made me think about the fresh lettuce I had from my grandma’s Shirley’s garden. 🙂 It was tasty.
