Last Teenage Grandchild
They say the older you get, the time goes by quicker and since hubby and I are in the “older” category, time seems to fly by. We have seven grandchildren, the oldest almost 29 years old and the youngest one is our last teenage grandchild.
Today our youngest granddaughter turned 13 years old. Yes, she has hit the teenage years but she will still by the “baby”. Before she started school, she “worked” with us in our shop and she would toddle around and greet the customers. One her 7th birthday, she had her hair cut and donated it to kids with cancer. She has always been a caring little girl.
Every time I look through my albums of pictures when Trin was younger, it’s amazing to see how quickly the time went from when she was just a tiny little baby until now when she’s a beautiful teenager.
Her older sister was always there for her and Trin was like a little shadow. When I wrote for Bubblews, a sites that is no longer up, and when Trin was about 8 years old she asked if she could write a story. My Bubblews family nicknamed her ‘Lil Kid’. When she turned 11 years old, a Bubblews friend said she’s not little anymore so we needed a new name and the gang came up with ‘Kewl Kid’. There were a few options of spelling it, but ‘Kewl’ was perfect! So now here she is a TEENAGER but she will always be our ‘Kewl Kid’.
Her first 13 years seemed to go by so quickly and within a few blinks she will be 18 and on to another chapter of her life. I’m sure she remembers all these happy pictures, the memories that go with them and the fun times when she was a happy-go-lucky ‘Lil Kid’. Happy 13th Birthday Trinity! Papa and Mama love you so much!!

Thanks Savvy Age, I love her so much and the memories of when she was small will never be forgotten. Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Birthday to her! It is amazing how quickly they grow up! Such a sweet post, thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Jennifer, when she was 5, she was told to stop growing. LOL She didn’t listen, a few more blinks of the eye and she’ll be 18! Thanks for visiting!
She’s adorable. My daughter is my last teen. I agree the older one gets the time flies by. My youngest son just turned 18 and got his license. My oldest son has my first grand child, a 2 year old boy who is a splitting image of his daddy at that age. It is like day ja vue when he is around.
Thanks Sandy, they grow up too fast! Your youngest son is the same age as our 5th grandbaby, he turned 18 in July. Awww, a 2 year old is so sweet, aren’t grandchildren a blessing? Thanks for stopping by.
A slide show of her life. I love it.
Thanks Andria, it’s amazing how they grow up so fast! Thanks for visiting.
