KNOT Wordless Wednesday

KNOT WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Is it not? No, it’s KNOT!!  I love taking photos of nature, wildlife and anything outdoors. For Knot Wordless Wednesday, I’m sharing some of my favorite knots with you.

These are two of my favorite tree knots, they are from the 400 year old Live Oak tree we recently visited near Charleston, South Carolina. If you missed my blog about the majestic Angel Tree, here is the link:  http://themarthareview.com/thursday-tree-love-week-17/

While driving through the Great Smoky Mountains National Forest, I snapped this knot, looks like a nice home for some furry animal.

,

I like to take my fence knots two different ways. I focus on the knot and blur the background, then I reverse it and focus on the background and blur the knot.

Last but NOT least, this is another fence KNOT where the grass is greener on the other side! I know it’s KNOT WORDLESS WEDNESDAY, but I had to give some descriptions to go with my knots.

Do you like photographing anything special? Do you have KNOTS or NOT?

Good morning, I have’t through about looking at trees and photographing different aspects of them like you have with the Knots. But it would give something for Charlie and I to do and get him outside. So we may just do this this week. In the meantime have a Blessed week and a Wonderful Wordless Wednesday.

You might say I think outside the box in many things Glenda. I put a little history tidbit in my Thursday Tree Blog, thought of Charlie when I posted it!

I’ve visited the Angel Oak twice and it is awe-inspiring. In my photography, I’ve not done much with knots. I should rethink that.

    • Martha says:

Do you live near the Angel Tree Alana or were you just passing by? I like thinking outside of the box and coming up with different ideas. That’s how the knots came about. Thanks for visiting the Angel Tree.

    Hi Martha,
I am glad you cleared up that it was NOT/Knot wordless Wednesday. It was naughty of you to confuse me.
I have to post a blog entry or two today and I will need words for that.
I was told by my wife that it is Nancy day and someone sent her a message to prove it.
I received another Ethernet missive telling me it is Daiquiri Day.
I think I might have had too many of those because I have just noticed,
I have started every sentence with “I”.
    Blog on !

    • Martha says:

Is it not or knot, that is the question. But with your Daiquiri Day you may not even care. LOL. The “I” says it all. Thanks for stopping by.

The photographs of the knots are beautiful. I love to take pictures, and I take pictures of all sorts of stuff. I especially like to take pictures of flowers and insects.

    • Martha says:

I love your photos Alice, especially the flowers but your gnomes are so adorable too! Sometimes I snap a photo and when I look back at it, I see something different than the first time. That’s how I came up with Knot photos. Thanks for stopping by.

The nature stores so much beauty within and the knots click is very beautiful. Indeed you capture the real beauty of knot

Thanks Bushra, I like looking deeper into photos than what I’m actually taking a picture of. I thought the knots were quite interesting.
