Jesus Listens Spiritual Sunday

I thought this was perfect for my Spiritual Sunday blog. Yes Jesus listens and answers even if the answers aren’t what we want to hear. There is still a message in them and I will follow his word.

My sweet neighbor and her husband gave me this book for Christmas and in just the few days that we are into the new year, I look forward to reading it daily. The book has a soft leather cover with a bookmark to hold my place plus the font is a good size which is great for my sometimes can’t see too well eyes.

The beginning of each month, there is a passage on the page and I love the message for January.

As I read the daily devotional, I can feel peace and know that Jesus is listening. At the end of the page, there are passages that go along with the message of the day.

This page is for today’s reading, the last sentence says it all. God will guard our hearts and minds. I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful upcoming week.
Martha, I loved today’s post. I felt uplifted reading it. Thank you dear friend. Have a blessed Sunday.
I’m so glad you were uplifted reading it Amanda. I enjoy reading the daily devotion, it makes me think of how things will go for the day. Hugs to you and Matt.
What a beautiful and heartfelt post! Your reflections on faith and the power of prayer are truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing such a comforting reminder of God’s presence in our lives
Thank you Gracelynne, God has always been in our lives but this past year he has held me together and I praise him for his glory.
This post is such a gem! I love how it’s a gentle nudge to slow down and really connect with faith. It’s like a little spiritual reset—just what I needed today!
The daily devotions do just that Faith, gives me a spiritual reset, just what I need after my past year.
Today marked the end of the Christmas season, and I got to sing my heart out with the choir. Oh, so much fun, and still so delightfully Christmas-ey. I love everything about Christmas but I think that the music is absolutely my favorite thing!
That’s what I love also Alice. I love to sing although sometimes I just squeak since I had a stroke that affected my throat back in 2009. But I still try!
Martha, yes! I am with you in everything you say today. As you know, I commune or talk outright with God frequently. I believe God wants us to talk with Him. So I do. I couldn’t have gotten this far without Him. Bless you for raising this whole subject on Spiritual Sunday. It’s so important.
Thank you Kebba, you and I are so alike in many ways. I always talk with God and I know he answers me. I definitely wouldn’t and couldn’t have gotten through last year especially without Him.
That looks like a great devotional. I’m listening to the Bible every day on the app YouVersion the Bible. My plan is Nicky and Pippa Gumbel.
The readings are so inspiring Naomi and I can’t get over how each day seems to have the exact message I need to hear.
Yes, he is listening even if it isn’t what we want to hear and I am so grateful for that and for you reminding me of that today.
I’m glad it helped you Glenda. He always knows what’s best for us.
