I’ve participated in a couple of UBC’s – not always successfully – but at least I gave it a go. And here I am, back again.
So glad you are giving it another go Maureen. Even if you don’t get all 31, at least you tried! I love candid shots and there will be many more! Thanks for visiting!

Hey there, Martha! What a great way to start 2020 with pics of your precious Lia! <3 And so good to be back "rubbing elbows" with you and others during the UBC. Thinking this may be my 5th year too, but my hopes for this year is to be able to finish all four challenges. Yippee!
Glad to see you again also Aletha! WOW 3 challenges….. I think my limit would be two but for now I’m sticking to just one. I need the time to make things with Lia so I can share on my blog!
This is what life is all about, isn’t it? Wonderful photo essay, and happy to reconnect in the UBC once again.
Thanks Alana, I just love taking “the moment is here” photos! Glad to see you back in the challenge, I’ll be posting more photos for sure!

Thanks Paul and I’m so glad I stumbled onto the UBC in January 2016!
What a sweet way to begin the New Year Martha. Happy New Year to you and your family.
You probably figured I would begin with Princess Lia, didn’t you Brenda? Thanks for visiting and stay tuned for my photos!
Hi Martha! Wonderful pictures. You could do a book of close-up hands! So full of love!
I have so many more hands Anne! The first time Lia was on GGpapa’s lap at a week old, she grabbed for his finger. Now at 16 months old, she still grabs for it. You might say she has him wrapped up! LOL Good idea, I may come up with a “handy hand” book!
Your photo’s of hands caught my eye, lovely! As well as your article. I enjoyed both very much.
Thanks Judi, I call them the hands of love. Lia is such a loving child and she shows it in so many ways. Thanks for visiting!
Hi Martha,
I can see Lia had a little hand in the production of this post.
I love the pictures and have enjoyed watching her grow up before our eyes with your regular posts.

Hello Martha,
I look forward to reading your upcoming UBC blogs. Coming from the place of a paper crafter and genealogist, your photos and memories are ‘priceless’. I enjoy very much capturing images like these in my crafting projects and my vintage journals I make.
I’ve journaled since I was a young child, but new to the blogging world…in fact, this is my very 1st UBC! I am now playing catchup since I only joined today. woohoo!!
I know like anything else, there will definitely be the learning curve of the blogger’s world.
It’s so great to meet you Nancy and your paper crafting and genealogist sounds so interesting! Looking forward to following your blog and FB!
