J is for Jersey Mikes
J is for JERSEY MIKES!
I was actually stumped on the letter J for the A to Z Challenge until my granddaughter asked me how I could forget about J is for Jersey Mikes! If you haven’t had one of their subs, you don’t know what you are missing. First they use REAL meat, not the processed kind that is full of water. When we go in to get our subs, the order takers already know we want, a #6 and a #8.
Hubby gets the #8 with ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce and onions with oil and vinegar. Their subs come in three size, small which is about 4″ long, a medium is about 6″ long and the giant is 12″ long. Their rolls are delicious, with a few varieties but we usually always get the white bread.
Since hubby doesn’t like cheese, I have them put his cheese, along with mine on the #6 which is delicious roast beef with lettuce and tomatoes with mayo. I’m always looking for ways to save and with the Jersey Mike loyalty card, you can earn free subs after you accumulate enough points. For us, that doesn’t take long. Besides getting points for each purchase, we also get a local’s discount of 10% which makes up for the tax and every little bit we save will go towards another sub! So if you haven’t have a Jersey Mike sub and you see their shop, stop in for the most delicious mouth watering sub!
I hope you are enjoying my alphabet blog for the A to Z April Blog Challenge The challenge is to write a blog starting with the first letter of the alphabet on day one and continue through the month every day except Sunday. For the previous letter, I wrote about I is for ICE and did we have ice during our southern ice storm. Please share your blog link in comments if you are taking part in this challenge, I’d love to read yours!
Another great blog challenge is the Ultimate Blog Challenge . The challenge is to write a blog a day for the month of April and so far I’ve completed it every day.
We stick with another J- Jimmy Johns. Because they have much better choices for those of us who don’t eat meat outside the house.
I’ll have to find a Jimmy Johns, I’ve heard good things about them but don’t have any near by. Thanks for stopping by Roy.
I LOVE Jersey Mikes! Being in NJ, there are easily found here! I was surprised when I was out in Las Vegas and behind my hotel, around the block was Jersey Mikes!

Our local Jersey Mikes has the best employees Alex, they know exactly what we want when we walk in! You need to make a trip down to get one!
