Is There Such a Place?
Today’s suggested blog topic is where would you like to travel, whether it be International or in our own country. I wrote a previous blog a few years ago about traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. It’s a perfect get-away! http://themarthareview.com/where-would-you-like-to-travel/ But this blog will be a different location. I’m not sure if it even exists but when we are children we make up imaginary friends and places. This is where I would like to travel but is there such a place?
I wrote a blog yesterday that might have been controversial to some of my readers, if you missed it here is the link: http://themarthareview.com/mixed-blessing/ Today my blog is about an imaginary place that I would love to visit and live.
Imagine a place were everyone got along no matter what their religion, nationality or belief. A place were children could go to school without being bullied or picked on because of having a disability or just being shy. A place where people could walk down the street and not worry about being mugged, shot at or even killed. I place where people don’t look down on others because of their skin color or religion.
How I’d love to find a place like this so every child and adult could live in harmony even though they have different backgounds. Is there such a place and can we ever find it? Maybe if we look hard we can. Bullying and discrimination must stop so our children of tomorrow can grow up in a world full of love and compassion.
The only way a place like this can exist is if we make it!
Lia will be the one to change the world Alex! She already has so much compassion and love!
Imagine! John Lennon
Maybe I could turn this into a song Nancy!
What a lovely post, with some sweet pictures. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Barb, as my granddaughter said, they only way we will find a place like that is to change things and make it happen.
Great post!
Thanks Amanda, I’m looking for a place like this.
