Ironing Board Cover – It Fits!

We have an older style ironing board and I have not been able to find a cover that is long enough to wrap around the edges and stay in place.   Also most have a separate foam pad that constantly moves around.

I saw Checky’s Deals had a cover that was 55″ long so I ordered it hoping it would work and was pleasantly surprised when I received it.

This ironing board cover has a heavy fiber pad attached to the the metalized, fireproof fabric cover.  The cover fits the ironing board perfectly and holds in place with the elastic around the entire edge.

I like the bungee that comes with it also, I attached that about 14″ down from the narrow end and there is no shifting of the pad.

When I first put the pad on, it had wrinkles from being in the package but they easily ironed out to a smooth top.  The padding is much thicker than the layer of foam from my old cover and adds extra coverage on the metal top so it doesn’t leave :”waffle” marks on the clothes while ironing them.  I am very please with the price I paid for this ironing board cover, the quality and construction plus I love how it stays put when ironing.
