Ice pops are easier to eat than popsicles because as they melt, they don’t drip. This set of six silicone ice pop molds are very colorful, with a blue, green, yellow, pink, red, and purple mold. They are very flexible and hold about 2 ounces of juice or yogurt.

I added pineapple juice just below the top edge and then capped them off. The caps didn’t seem to fit real tight so when I froze them, I put them at an angle so they wouldn’t leak while freezing. When I removed them, I realized they don’t push up easily right off. I put the ice pop holder between my hands and rolled it a few times.

The heat of my hands loosened the frozen juice from the holder and it was then easy to push up. The nice thing about ice pop molds, if you don’t finish your pop, it can be recapped and frozen again for next time. When I washed them, I first soaked in hot soapy water, then I filled it with hot water and starting from the bottom up, squeezed it. It’s best to wash them out immediately after use. The SiliconeIce Pop Molds by Decodyne are made with food grade silicone and BPA free. These are great for young and old and by making them with juice or yogurt, you have a healthy snack. I recieved this product to test in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
