Hard Boiled Eggs
I have another quick and easy meal. I love hard boiled eggs but not a fan of peeling them! Well I found a new way to hard boil my eggs and it’s so easy!
These pictures were back in 2020 when Lia was 2 years old. She loved helping me peel the eggs and make egg salad sandwiches! But times have changed and I found a new way to boil them without needing to be peeled!
Simple step to hard boiled eggs with needing to be peeled
Lightly coat a glass baking dish with oil, crack the eggs into the dish.
Boil water with a metal strainer in the pan and when at a full boil carefully place the dish of eggs in the strainer. Be very careful that the water doesn’t boil over and burn you.
Cover the pan, leaving it slightly uncovered to release any steam. It took about 15 minutes for the eggs to fully harden. I used a toothpick to check to make sure they were totally hard boiled. Take the dish out carefully again so not to get burned with the water.
Let cool a bit then flip the baking dish of eggs on a plate to thoroughly cool.
Chop the hard boiled eggs and make your salad as usual. Perfect for egg salad sandwiches or macaroni or potato salad! I love them all.
This is so easy and you don’t have to worry about peeling your hard boiled eggs!
Stay tuned for more cooking ideas and recipes!

I love hard boiled eggs Amrita but when I peel them, sometimes I lose half the egg!
What a great way to make hard boiled eggs. I will try it, as I don’t like having to peel the shells. Sometimes you lose too much of the eggs.
Right Brenda, I’ve actually lost more than half an egg at times! This is so easy.
Thanks for sharing this egg hack / scientific experiment!
Have you tried the egg yolk / White separation trick? Crack your eggs into a shallow bowl, and using a plastic bottle, suck in the yolks to release them in another container.
Well that’s a neat hack Tamara that I haven’t tried! They only time I separate an egg is for making fluffy white frosting!
Very Interesting, I’ll have to share this with Mom- she loves hardboiled eggs, As I am vegan I don’t do eggs but it is a very helpful article…
Hope you mom likes this method Pam!
