Happy To See My Old Friends
Hi and welcome back to the Ultimate Blog Challenge again! I’m so happy to see my “old” friends back and how great to see some newbies join in! I know this is the old header, but I love it and didn’t want to use the same one Lia used yesterday.
Today is day 2 of the April challenge, it seems like Lia beat me to welcoming you all on her Friday Story Time by Lia! I’m excited to be back for my 26th consecutive UBC! I love a challenge, it gets my adrenaline going and something in me says “you can do it, just don’t quit!” With Lia’s help we’ll chip away at them until I get to my 50th way down the road.
I’m still trying to figure out what happened to the months after the January UBC up until now. They seemed to fly by! I can’t hardly remember February but March was not hard to forget. I celebrated my 73rd birthday on March 12th and I keep thinking someday I may grow up but for now I’ll just keep growing old(er) and be at kid at heart. That’s not hard to do with Lia, for those who haven’t met Lia yet, she is our 5th great great baby (out of 10) and her and her mom live with us. Lia is the most loving, compassionate and smart little 3 year old, soon to be 4 in August! Talk about where the time went, it seems like she was just born and now her mommy will be registering her this month for the 2023 Kindergarten school year!
Today was such a busy day, our community had our annual Spring garage sale and Lia had her grand opening of Lia’s Sunshine Bakery! I’m sure that will be her Friday Story Time by Lia blog next week!
So fo all the members participating in the April challenge, let’s get blogging and knock out the days, I’m enjoying reading and commenting on your blogs! Thank you all for visiting, reading, commenting and sharing my blogs, all this helps with our stats! Until tomorrow, blog on!
So happy to see you doing another challenge, Martha. I love reading your blog. I can’t wait to read about the Sunshine Bake sale! I hope it went well and you sold out!!
I’m addicted to blogging Brenda! LOL Lia had such a fun time at her Sunshine Bakery. Wait until she posts her Friday Story Time by Lia about it!
Martha, you’re not kidding– the weeks have sped by since the last challenge closed, even though we’ve posted a bunch and traded some comments. So Lia is getting lanky and headed to kindergarten next year! Now wherever did you get the cute little chefs’ hats and the matching apron? Keep springing forth and also taking breaks sometimess!
Time has a way of sneak up and going by Kebba! Hard to beleive Lia will be 4 years old in a few months! She has a variety of chef hats and aprons, this set came from a product review. I embroidered her name and butterfly!
Hi Martha, It must be great to have such great help with the challenge. As for growing old, I have stopped growing up and am trying very hard not to grow around.
It is wonderful to have a great helper in everything I do Doug! Lia loves doing hands on things. LOL never thought about growing around!
Between the two of you, Lia sure brightens our days and you continue to inspire us with every single post, Martha!! So great to have met you through the UBC (seems like ages ago now)
Lia loves sharing her sunshine and making others smile Vidya. I have to go back through my blogs and see if I can figure out when I met all my “old” bloggers! LOL It seems like we have been friends forever. π
Liaβs Sunshine Bakery – just delightful! Imagine this may be her day job one day!! π
Lia has such a wide array of things she might turn into a job Tamara! She had so much fun at her bake sale!
