Happy Halloween

First things first, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Hope all the Trick or Treaters have a great time and be safe!

I had to share this picture of two of our grandchildren Alex and Zac. This is Lia mommy when she was six years old!

Now for the Ultimate Blog Challenge, WE DID IT, MADE IT TO THE LAST DAY OF THE OCTOBER CHALLENGE! WOO HOO are you excited, did you enjoy the month, will you be back in January? As for me, my answers are YES, YES, and YES!! Most of you know I started this challenge January 2016 so I just completed my 32nd consecutive Ultimate Blog Challenge. Of course I have all by faithful readers to thank for visiting, commenting, sharing and liking Lia’s and my blogs. It’s been a fun 8 years and I’m looking forward to the January 2024 challenge!

My end of the challenge poem

As always I like to share a poem I wrote for the ending challenge. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO JOINED IN THIS AWESOME CHALLENGE even if you may not have completed a blog every day. A BIG THANK you to our host, Paul T. for keeping everyone on track by sending daily blog suggestions and just being a great friend.

When the month started I had ideas for the blogs I would write and for the most it worked out well. Lia had fun sharing her Friday Story Time by Lia blogs and from this picture it looks like we need to update it since Lia was 3 years old! I had fun sharing some recipes for quick and easy meals, different ideas, sharing photographs and just rambling on. I’m not sure why I don’t have extra free time anymore. When Rich and I had our business we were working from ten to twelve hour days at times but I still seemed to have free time. Now that we have retired, where did our free time go? There are times I’m stretching my time to the limit, squeezing in my blog late a night but I manage to get it done! But one thing I didn’t get done, was keeping up on replying to comments all you great people left. So once again I have a personal challenge. I have well over 100 comments to catch up on and my goal is to get them done in two weeks. I love to turn everything into a challenge and this is one that I will complete!

Lia has already been to three Halloween parties and this is her second one where she is dressed up as her favorite character Maribel from the movie Encanto. She loved the finished look of her face painting! Tonight we will all go out trick or treating, I love to see all the little princesses, ghosts, goblins and witches!

Again, thank you for visiting our blogs! Everyone can now step back and take a sigh of relief that we completed another blog challenge! Get ready for January, it will be here before we know it!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Thank you, Lia and Martha, for another great month! I remember cupcakes and cinnamon cake, costumes and smiles!
Speaking of smiles, love to see what Alex and Zac looked like when they were about Lia’s age. It must be unreal for you to watch them grow and become parents themselves!

    Happy Halloween! Enjoy!
