Happy Birthday to my Baby Sister
I’m not going to beat around the bush on this blog. I’m wishing a very Happy Birthday to my Baby Sister! This is a picture of her when she was 5 years old. Today my baby sister is……. well I can’t tell you her age because some women stay 29 forever. But I can tell you she’s not getting any younger! LOL I turned 67 this past March and I don’t care about giving my age out, in fact I think it’s kinda fun especially when some people ask me twice. Oh heck, I’m gonna give you this scenario. My baby sister was born in 1958 and she’s the same age as the last two numbers. Nancy has reached a milestone, something that she will never see again. She is the age of the the year she was born. (Not counting the 19..)
This is a blog I wrote a few weeks ago about me being “No More the Youngest Child” because of Nancy. She’s kinda cute in this picture, don’t you think?
No More The Youngest Child
So today I’m roasting my baby sister on her 58th birthday, only because I’m older than she is and I can.
Since Nancy was a surprise package to everyone and I mean everyone, even my mom and dad, they had to come up with a name fairly quick. There were two older girls that lived on each side of us and both their names were Nancy. My parents decided to name my little sister Nancy since they loved both the other Nancy’s and saw how well mannered and smart they were. I’m not sure how old Nancy is here and she doesn’t remember either so we’re going to guess and say she’s about 9 or 10. Sometimes I can tell from the teeth and since she doesn’t have her baby teeth, she may even be a bit older. Nancy took after the neighbor Nancy’s and was very smart in school, quiet and always polite. She had a face that was so lovable and of course she had our parents believing this also. LOL But don’t let that cute little smile and the freckly face fool you. She’s outgrown the freckles.
As Nancy got older, she would speak her piece and it’s like
“when Nancy speaks, you all listen”. What ever happened to my sweet, quite sister? But doesn’t she have perfect teeth? That’s one think my parents were adiment about, we all went to the dentist regularly. Back to speaking her piece, maybe that’s a good thing, it keeps her lungs clear! Okay, I’m getting a bit witty here, but if you knew our family, you would see that this is a natural thing.
So whether my sister wants to grow up or not, she has to admit that she is aging. But aging graceful, since that’s how are family is. Just to be on the safe side, Nancy is working on making sure she ages extra gracefully with CoolerAge. See I got my sister into freebies and reviews and she’s going full speed ahead with this, taking no chances that the wrinkles will creep up on her when she’s not looking.
This is my free spirited baby sister today and I want to wish her the Happiest Birthday ever! Happy, Happy Birthday Nancy, love you and all the memories we have shared.
Disclaimer: Since I’m old(er) and sometimes a bit unpredictable, I can’t be held responsible for how crazy I get when writing my blogs. I think this one is the craziest but since Nancy and I share crazy, I think I’m safe!

Super sweet article and a nice genuine thought and gift for your sister. You must love her so much I can tell. You both don’t look a day over 21 🙂 Happy Birthday! She sound like my baby brothers, so sweet when we were young and now when they speak I listen 🙂
Thanks Tina and Jimmy! I’m sure some people were quite alarmed when they started reading it, but if they knew Nancy and me, they would see that’s just how we are. I can’t remember a time that we ever angry with each other. Well maybe when she chased me around the yard and I fell into a metal pole. But she says I was chasing her and since the youngest one is always right, that’s probably how it was. LOL I enjoy bringing smiles to people through my blogs. Thanks so much for stopping by.
OK. Your job is to pass along the good wishes to her! (Remind her she is 10 years younger than the one running for president- to the day…)
I will pass the good wishes along Roy and thank you. So does that make my sister famous because she shares her birthday? LOL Thanks for stopping by.
