Half Way Point in April
Can you believe we are at the half way point in April? Since we are half way through I thought the feature photo of a glass half way filled was perfect. I was so excited when the April Ultimate Blog Challenge was beginning and now it’s half way gone! But I’ve had such an exciting 15 days reading, sharing, commenting and liking the other participants of this super challenge. From the looks of my stats they have been doing the same with my blog posts.
As I was checking my stats and writing the numbers down, I realized I was becoming just like my grandfather. When he watched baseball he always had his notebook out, jotting down all the scores, how many home runs and where his favorite team was in the stats. If my grandfather could see me now, I’m doing the same thing with my blog stats!
I was quite surprised when I checked on the total number of views for April so far. I have 2,191 views in 15 days! Last April I had 2,666 for the entire month and this past January challenge month, I ended up with 3,218. So according to my calculations, I’m only 1,027 views behind the entire month of January and we still have 15 days to go. My daily average views of 145 is the highest it’s ever been.
Then I went one step further, I wanted to see how my individual posts were doing and was pleasantly surprised to see my Peace and Tranquility post for Wordless Wednesday is leading the month with 223 views. I chose the pictures in this blog to give my readers a little relaxation with all the unrest going on in the world with the coronavirus.
But the big surprise is that Friday Story Time by Lia’s post about Sharing My Hearts came in second with 161 views and her Easter Bunny Surprise blog followed in third with 155 views. So it looks like Lia the Baby Blogger is giving me a run for my money as the saying goes.
Of course the only way I received these figures was because of you! And you, and you and yes you too! So I’m sending you all a big thank you virtual hug once again! I love this challenge and I love all the bloggers that participate and help each other grow with the blog views, comments, shares and likes.
So now on to the 2nd half of the challenge, I’ll be back with my final stats when it’s over!
Virtual Hug right back to you…And you better WORK Martha LIA is beating you in this, she even has my attention! LOL! Wow, look at those stats, I can only hope to have stats like those!!
LOL I’m trying to get MY stats up to Lia’s Pamela. I am having so much fun watching Lia grow and having her blog with me is wonderful.
I don’t know about you but I am already counting the days down until October when we do the challenge again. I am proud of your stats and I can understand why Lia’s post do so good she is adorable.
I love this challenge, not just for the challenge to write but for all the wonderful friends I have met Glenda. I figure in a few years Lia will take over my blog Glenda!
Congrats for making it to the halfway point! And those are great stats. I haven’t checked mine yet, but I think you are inspiring me, so maybe I will.
I like to see where they are half way and then at the end Jeanine. Guess that’s my grandfather in me. 🤣
Way to rock the challenge, Martha! Like you I’ve been enjoying many of the posts shared.
So many great bloggers in the challenge Kat, I look forward to reading everyone’s thoughts.

You have some great stats and they are improving which is a great sign! I’m not surprised the peace and tranquility post is leading the way, we all need that!
Thanks Apocalypse Daddy! I love the photos in my Peace and Tranqulity blog and glad it helped so many relax. Loving your blog BTW!
Martha, with the way the world is right now, your blog gives joy and happiness to the world. It needs all the love, it can get right now. You and your lovely family bring sunshine into the lives of so many. Thank-you
Awww thank you Brenda. If everyone shared love and smiles imagine how this works would be. Hugs to you 🤗🤗
I’m so proud of your achievements. One thing I have learned from ten years of blogging is the more you blog the better your numbers will be. Keep writing. 🙂
Thank you Amanda! When I started blogging in December 2014, I never even know what stats were. LOL. I plugged along learning as I wrote and I’m so happy Lia has joined in with me.
