Grownup Coloring Book
Coloring Books for Grownups: Inspired: Modern Art Designs
I have always loved to color but this is the first grownup coloring book I’ve had and the pages of designs are awesome!
The best thing I like about this Modern Art Design coloring book is the quality of the paper and how there is nothing on the back of the page. After coloring the designs, they would make beautiful framed prints!
There are 50 different designs and you can let your imagination with color go wild. It’s also very calming to color and can be very relaxing. The cover of the book is wonderful too.
It is paperback but is coated so it’s easy to wipe clean. I experimented using colored pencils and then crayons. Both worked fine but I like the colored pencils better since they have a finer point.
I have one colored pencil that has 4 different colors in one, just rotate the pencil to the color of the lead you want. Fine line gel markers would work great too, that will be my next coloring form to try. But this book is more than just a coloring book.
At the beginning of the book, the different styles of art are explained and at the end of the book is an index to each design describing what style it is.
I am very pleased with this beautiful coloring book illustrated by Cleonique Hilsaca, the quality and organization are great. I received this book in exchange for my honest review and if you liked coloring when you where a child, you will love bringing the art of coloring back with Coloring Books For Grownups.
Visiting the store last weekend, I seen these. I almost bought my boyfriend and myself one. My daughter who is 15 said those coloring books would be to hard to do. I laughed. I said not really, they will take longer. As you have to pay more attention to the detail.
They are more detailed then the cartoon looking drawings on kids coloring books and they do take more time but the designs are so unique. It’s fun to take a break from devices and just color! Thanks for stopping by Sandy.
Whoa, what a neat book! And who ever said coloring was just for kids? ? lol
Definitely not the kids coloring books were use to. It’s fun to take a break and color. Thanks for stopping by Alex
