Got a Question for Us?

We made it past the 21 day mark of the November Ultimate Blog Challenge! The challenge is real this month and although Lia and I have posted every day so far I must say it’s been questionable at times. But we don’t give up, this is my 24th consecutive UBC since I started in January 2016. So now this is for my readers,… Got a question for us?

First, Lia and I want to thank you for visiting our blog and reading Friday Story Time by Lia and all our other blogs about what we are doing.

I have a favor to ask of you! Now that you are here, what would you like to know? What question would you like answered? Go on, ask Lia or me a question! In a few days I will select a few questions and answer them for you! So, leave a comment below and ask us a question!

Most of you know that Lia loves to bake, cook, do crafts and share her smile with everyone. Now she asks, “Got a question for me?” If you have a question for Lia, you may just be highlighted in her Friday Story Time by Lia blog!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

  1. How are you planning to spend Thanksgiving? How many family members?

  2. Danwil R. says:

Nice! My question is…who is the one taking the shots that you post on your blog? That person is also doing a good job with your photos.

    • Martha says:

Great question Danwil! Most all the photos are my blog are taken by me with my Google Pixel phone. Since Lia has been blogging with me, she will sometimes take her own photos with my phone. She loves focusing on a subject and moving the phone to get just the right shot! My granddaughter, Alexandra (Lia’s mom) has also taken a few I’ve posted but I mention credits when she does. Any photo with Lia and me are usually taken by Alexandra or my hubby. The one photo of Lia and me on my gravatar was taken at JC Penney shortly after Lia’s 3rd birthday this past August. I love taking pictures and can always look through the thousands I have taken and find some that work with what ever my blog topic is! Thanks for the question and compliment Danwil!

  3. You guys are so adorable! And how neat that we get to ask a question. My question is what can you do to reheat pizza so that it comes out perfect and doesn’t taste reheated?

  4. Dominique says:

I have no questions but I wanted to wish you a Happy Monday!

  5. Tamara says:

You have been doing the UBC since 2016? That’s admirable.
My question for the two of you is “Could you be any cuter”? Love the picture in the kitchen. Do you have a favorite recipe you like to do together?
To Lia: It’s not a question. It’s a request: please keep smiling and spreading joy! You’re having such a positive impact on the people around you! Looking into your sparkling eyes makes me smile as well!

  6. Lia — what is your most favorite thing to bake?

    • Martha says:

WOW that’s a hard question since I LOVE to make so many different things. I even make ice cream! I love to make banana bread and I even made Zucchini bread from the zucchini from my garden! I have two recipes for my zucchini bread and one time I used butterfly molds to make my bread in! This was the Lemon Zucchini bread recipe and it’s delicious! I also love to make cookies and chocolate chip is my favorite cookie! Thanks for asking me a question Angie!

  7. I enjoyed this post. Does Lia like unicorns?

    • Martha says:

I LOVE UNICORNS!! My 3rd birthday party had a Unicorn theme and I even had a Unicorn pinata! I even have a Unicorn hanging lamp in my Princess playroom! Look at my Unicorn I got for Easter and I even have a Unicorn Adventure book with my name throughout and my picture at the end of the book!

  8. Lia, I have 2 questions: 1) what is your very favorite food and 2) what is your very favorite dessert? I would like the recipes, too, if possible. Thanks! <3

    • Martha says:

Great questions Kebba! I have three favorite foods! They are mac ‘n cheese, shrimp and crab! How’s that for a dinner? As for my favorite dessert, that would have to be chocolate or chocolate chip cookies. For my recipes, Ma and I make chocolate avocado cookies and they taste so good! For my chocolate chip cookies, we use the recipe on the Nestles Toll House chocolate chip bag. Hope you try one of my cookie recipes Kebba!

  9. Here are some questions:

    1. What does Lia want to be when she grows up?
    2. What is Martha’s favorite quiet activity?
    3. What are Lia and Martha’s favorite foods?
    4. Martha – what family traditions have you introduced Lia to? Are there any you would like to share soon that you haven’t yet?

    • Martha says:

Well I haven’t thought about what I want to be when I grow up but I do know I want to bring smiles and happiness to others. I have a good start on that already! I asked Ma what her favorite quiet activity was and she laughed. It’s never quiet around here and we are always busy doing something. But she did say she loves blogging late at night or very early in the morning before we get the day going. Ma’s favorite food is salmon! She has a few delicious recipes and one of her marinades is raspberry! This blog has a variety of the delicious sauces she makes for her salmon. http://themarthareview.com/wild-salmon-season/ My favorite foods are mac ‘n cheese, shrimp and crab! As for family traditions ma makes many of the same meals that her grandmother did and she will pass down the recipes to me when I get older. She has also introduced sewing, baking and cooking just like she did with her grandmother. I love sharing everything I do with Ma and many of them are the same things she did with my mommy when she was my age! Thank you for all these great questions Julie!

Q for Martha – how do you do it all? !!! 🙂 You know that has been my q for you always..
Can I ask Rich a Q too – what is the secret that makes your roses grow?
Q for Lia -what is your fav thing to make in the kitchen, Princess Lia?

    • Martha says:

Hi Vidya, I’m jumping in here to answer your first question. First, I can’t sit still, always have to be doing something. I get that from my mom and grandmother. Both were hard workers and never a dull moment in their lives. It seems like since Rich and I “semi-retired” back in 2018, we are busier now than before! But we love it and enjoy every minute we spend doing fun things with Lia! As for the question you had for Rich, he says his secret is just talking to the roses. Every morning he goes outside and picks the wilted roses off, talks to them and they grow back even more beautiful! Okay Vidya, I’m back for my question now! I have so many favorite things I like to make. I enjoy making meals with Ma and when the vegetables from the garden are ready to pick, I enjoy helping to up the eggplant and squash to freeze for meals later on. I also love to help pop make spaghetti and meatballs! There are so many delicious cookies and cakes and I can’t forget the banana bread!

  11. Amanda Gene says:

    What is your favorite color?

    • Martha says:

Hmmmm, my favorite color is pink and Lia’s chances from time to time but it’s between yellow and purple! She loves the sunshine so that’s why yellow is her favorite. Thanks for stopping by Amanda.
