Garden Photography Challenge – February
Garden Photography Challenge – February
I came across this challenge from another blog, Small Blue Green Flowers and each month the challenge has a different theme. It sounds exciting, read about it and maybe you will want to take the challenge also.
This is the February challenge:
Monochrome – black and white or tones of one color. Look for texture, shape and patterns. The subject matter is entirely up to you, but should be loosely garden related.
These photos are roses from our garden. My hubby has a green thumb and grows beautiful roses.

Can’t say I’m a fan of black and white photography. I understand how it’s supposed to be ”arty” but I like a little colour in my photos!
I prefer color also Bill especially in these roses! February was B & W, wait til next month! Thanks for visiting!
Wow, the roses are stunning, but the photo of the one with the dew on it, is gorgeous!! I love the idea of this blog challenge and just may have to join! 🙂
That rose was taken early one morning, I love to caption different elements especially in my rose photos. Hope you join in, you have the entire month of February to join in for this month. Make sure you tag me if you join Kelli! Thanks for stopping by.
I love black and white photos, done right. Those are some pretty roses and I love to capture flowers after a rain and it still on them 🙂
I think I’ll write a blog using these photos in their natural color. I did a time lapse last year from bud to fallen petals. Hubby grows such beautiful roses! Thanks for visiting Andria.
It sounds like a fun challenge. I would love to join in march. As it would be fun to revive a few of my blogs over on Blogger. As I share my shorter posts over there.
I hope you do join in on the fun Sandy! Start thinking of ideas for the March theme of Garden Wild Life! Thanks for stopping by.
Very nicely written artcile, thanks
