G is for Grandchildren!
G is for Grandchildren!
Of course I had no problem coming up with the word today for the A to Z April Blog Challenge. The letter for today is “G” and G is for Grandchildren! Of course it is also for GREAT Grandchildren, which we also have. Let me start by introducing our seven wonderful grandchildren, ranging from 28 years to 12 years old.
Our oldest is 28 years old CJ, will always be known as ‘little Chuckie’ to pops and me. He is a model, travels the world for photo shoots and TV commercials, and is an entrepreneur with experience in tech, food and entertainment companies. He has created some awesome Apps and has weekly exercise programs at the park in NYC for anyone wanting to join in. He does this at no charge because he loves helping others become healthy. This is CJ with is beautiful girl friend when they came down to visit.
Desiree is 26 and we couldn’t be more proud of her. She works as a chef and is so creative in her food creations. Her long days of starting work at 4:00 am are well worth it when she gets home to her two children. Yes, Desi has blessed us with two precious GREAT grandchildren, Logan and Ayva. Logan is in Cub Scouts and was so excited when he moved up a rank. Ayva is his little shadow that follows him everywhere. I love this picture, Logan and Ayva were visiting their gramma and us for a month. When we took them back, this is the reunion with their mom.
Next we have 24 year old Allison and we were so excited when we found out she is excepting a little one in October! Within he next few months, we should find out if it’s a little boy or little girl. To me it doesn’t matter, as long as the little bundle is healthy. Alli also works long days as a theater manager. Sometimes she works the morning shift, others it’s the night shift until midnight. This is Alli and her hubby.
Then we have little brother to CJ, Desi and Alli. Danny is 20 years old and Alli calls him her ‘big little brother’ because he towers over her. Danny works in sales and is the best on his team!
These four wonderful grandchildren belong to our oldest daughter. Chris had just lost her hubby to cancer a few months before Christmas, we were so blessed to have all the grands together with Chris for Christmas. In case you didn’t guess, they are Alabama Roll Tide fans!
The next three belong to our youngest daughter.
Alexandra just turned 20 years old and is in the process of out about college. She has three different directions she looking into, so we shall see which way she turns. I love this picture of Alex after she graduated from high school.
Her brother, Zachary is 17 and looking forward to graduating high school next month and going on to college for auto mechanics. He already knows so much about it, he will wiz though.
Little sister Trinity is 12 years old and is finishing up 7th grade next month. She has awhile to decide on what the future has in store for her.
So this is the G for the A to Z challenge and We are so proud of all our beautiful and talented grandchildren and GREAT grands.
I hope you are enjoying my alphabet blog for the A to Z April Blog Challenge The challenge is to write a blog starting with the first letter of the alphabet on day one and continue through the month every day except Sunday. Yesterday my blog was F is for Flowers where I wrote about the beautiful flowers in our yard. There are just the right number of letters as the number of days in the month. So tomorrow I will blog about the next letter. See you tomorrow!

Coffee is on
Oh Dora, congratulations!! Let me give you a few pointers. First thing, you have to BRAG consistently about your precious little one, then you ALWAYS have to have tons of photos on your phone to be ready to pull out and show everyone! Being a gramma is so exciting, they seem to love us in a totally different way than our children. Thanks for visiting and looking forward to reading about your new grand child!
Grandchildren really keep us going in our old age!
They sure do Bill and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I tell people I grow old but I don’t grow up, thanks to my grandchildren keeping my acting young! Thanks for stopping by.
