I have never used a French Press before but I love all kinds of tea so when I was offered to try the Pyora French Press Coffee and Tea Maker in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion I was excited for it to arrive. Since I used it for tea, I will give my experiences on that instead of coffee. You can brew black, green, herbal, matcha or any other kind of loose tea. The french press is high quality with a 34 ounce heat resistant glass pot which has beautiful stainless trim and feet.

The plunger is also stainless and the attached filter never needs changing, it is so fine it strains the leaves out of the tea. The sturdy handle makes it easy to pour without spilling and it looks very stylish. The pot and plunger are easy to clean after use. There are so many health benefits in tea drinking and you can add other flavoring while brewing.

There are health benefits in tea drinking and you can add other flavoring while brewing.  I choose a black loose tea and I added tangerine peels before adding the water. It was delicious with a light orange flavor. It’s very easy to brew the tea, first I start by boiling the water, then add the loose tea and orange peels to the pot and then add the boiling water.

Cover but do not plunge it for a few minutes so it can brew. Slowly push the plunger down and the strainer will push the tea leaves to the bottom of the pot.

After the tea is brewed and the leaves are separated by the plunger, pour a wonderful, refreshing cup of delicious tea. I am very pleased with the Pyora French Press and it is a wonderful addition to my kitchen counter.
