Ending CCBC with a Pinwheel Garden
I’ve got another challenge under my belt plus it’s Wordless Wednesday so I’m ending CCBC with a Pinwheel garden for Lia!
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the June Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge. Lia and I hope you enjoyed our ending CCBC with a pinwheel garden finale and spreading love and smiles.
So creative and pretty. Congratulations on finishing another challenge.
Thanks Brenda, it was a fun challenge and excited to see new members come over from the UBC!
I still have wonderful memories of the pinwheels of my youth. They used to have a hollow stem filled with (junk) candy. My grandfather would drive his illustrious car around the Belt Parkway with the windows opened (otherwise, we’d have his A/C running), stopping at the various beaches when I’d jump in for a quick swim. That continued until the candies were gone- or the pinwheel got torn off the stem by the wind velocity.
OMG Roy, I remember the stem filled with candy and holding the pinwheel out the window too!
So awesome! I love the colors, too, not to mention Lia’s enjoyment!
The garden is in the middle of our backyard and we can see it from the TV room, it’s so colorful and happy looking. Thanks for visiting Kathleen!
Hi Martha and Lia, Neato! What a creative idea to have a real garden and a pinwheel garden in one! They both have beauty and inspire. The sparkly one that has the moves is my favorite, plus the ladybug one! They are all so colorful and fun. Thank you for sharing a bit more sunshine! Sending lots of love and gratitude. Jaime
Rich came up with the idea of putting pinwheels in the yard and once some of the veggie plants were finished we had garden room so I think it’s the perfect spot! Lia loves watching them! Thanks for visiting our pinwheel garden Jaime!
How cute. 🙂
Thanks Amanda, it brightens up the yard and brings smiles!
