Elmer’s Squishie Maker Kit
The week went by so fast and it’s Friday Story Time by Lia again! Have you ever seen little figures that are soft and squishy in stores? I have a few that I got at the Dollar Store and they are fun to squish. But look what I got for Christmas, an Elmer’s Squishie Maker Kit so now I can make my own squishies!
The kit has everything needed to make four squishies including four mystery molds, the two different secret solutions, the glue, four mixing cups and four sticks to stir them up.
The first thing I did was squeeze the two packs of secret solution in the little cup then squish in the little tube of glue and mix that all together with the little plastic stick. For my first project I used the yellow glitter glue!
My secret mixture is ready to pour into the mold! I carefully poured the mixture in then set the timer for 60 minutes.
When the timer went off I was so excited to open the mold and see my squishable animal! Isn’t he adorable and it was so much fun to make him! I also got a refill kit to make four more squishies so I’ll have eight when I get them all made.
But look at all the molds they have! I can collect 80 of them and it’s as easy as mix the ingredients, pour in the mold, wait to harden and play with them! It’s like baking, mixing, pouring and baking!
Elmer’s Squishie Maker Kit is so much fun and I’m glad I saw it advertised on TV so I could put it on my Christmas list! Hope you all have a fun weekend, this is my final blog for the January Ultimate Blog Challenge and I want to thank you all for visiting my Friday Story Time by Lia!!
Wow, they look like fun to make and play with. I never seen a kit like that before.
Lia loved making them Brenda, so many new things since our day!
What will Elmer the Cow think of next?
LOL, leave it to Elmer Roy!
These look like a lot of fun and I will go to Walmart to see if I can find these for my niece and nephew. Although, I bet Charlie and David would enjoy making them as well in our #Homeschool Art Class.
They would be so much fun for art class Glenda!
Well, Lia, this activity certainly seems like a lot of fun. I admire and applaud your interest and participation in so many different activities. Keep up the good work. You are on your way to great success in life!

The squishies are so much fun to make Cheryl!
I wonder what else you could put into those moulds. Chocolate? Plaster of Paris to get a figurine that you could paint?
Hmmm, that’s a great idea Doug to use plaster of paris or molding clay even!
Lia, wow! Thank you for introducing me to this product/kit! I have held squishy little toys in my hands and enjoyed fussing with them. But I had no idea we could get kits– even refills– and make our own. I’m thinking: pink unicorn! Do you have a favorite?
I pink unicorn would be great Kebba! I don’t have a favorite, I like them all!
that end result sure is cute and colorful! And so fun to make.. Looking forward to reading more stories from you, Lia!
