Digital Hearing Amplifier
Digital Hearing Amplifier
I have always seen a digital hearing amplifier advertised on TV but this is the first time I actually ordered one. I am so impressed at how well it works. It comes in a nice case with three batteries, three ear tips plus a brush for cleaning. I like how there are cut outs in the case so when storing the amplifier, you can carry it in your bag or pocket and it will stay safe in the case.
The first thing I did was install the battery which was very easy, just open the battery compartment door, slip in battery and snap it shut. The Max Range hearing amplifier is very easy to use, it has an “on/off” switch on the back of the amplifier, then the “plus/minus” level to just push whether you want to increase or decrease the volume. There are 16 volume levels and it’s easy to adjust while it is in the ear. I like how it has four modes also for increased or decreased noise reduction, and two modes for amplification. I got this for my husband to try since he has problems hearing the TV. He was amazed how he could actually hear out of the one ear that he has not been able to hear out of for years. There is a slight background noise but according to the instructions this is normal because they are noises that we haven’t been able to hear before. I have tried all the modes and four seems to be the best. With the three different ear pieces in a variety of sizes, it’s easy to get a perfect fit.
My husband used the smallest one and wrapped the amplifier with the small tube behind his ear. Even with this behind the ear, he can still wear his eye glasses comfortable. I am very satisfied with the quality, the construction and the overall look of this Digital Discovery hearing amplifier which I received at a reduced cost for my honest review.
